Everywhere I go, the regions are offline.

It seems to me that you’re referring to a prevalent situation that occurred during 2019. I quit using auto refresh in 2020. Often I would log into the land page, and there would be a Trad, Vic, Log Home, Camper, or rarely a Houseboat on the page. It wasn’t the abundance that it is currently. But there was something, besides Meadowbrook. New people would post in the forums what they would hope to land. Instead of months, they would normally get a parcel within days of posting.

That’s me almost everyday, since I’m retired. 😂

And I landed a wonderful houseboat in Santa Louisa. My neighbors are from the original region release of April 2019! Thank you to whoever gave it up.

I have to thank you profusely for letting this one go. Since I learned to not say "forever home", I won't promise to keep this forever. It's been one of the neighborhoods that I've wanted to live in. It's so special!

I haven’t explored the waterways yet. I’ve put a double kayak rezzer on my dock. It will be open to anyone who wants to try it out. I have a tendency to move around a lot, so I’’m not posting the location here. Feel free to contact me inworld or message me in the forums. I haven’t really been sailing much, since I joined Bellisseria. My kayaks have been my mode of transport. They’re great for navigating in tight waterways.

It sounds like it's landscaping outside of your parcel that is on public land. It was determined when the homes were released in 2019 that landscaping would not be changed. When I first got my Linden home, I didn't realize that it wasn't part of my property.

I've missed so many lovely houses that I've seen posted on this thread. My dream came true today. My alt landed in one of the neighborhoods that I've yearned for since 2019. Ketran! My green, rocky Traditional with a view of the sea. On a whim, I named it "Once in a Blue Moon" without knowing where it would be. What a happy surprise!

@Prokofy Nevayou probably don’t remember how the land page looked during the massive release of Vics and Log homes. I do, because I’m a GoH player. I love the opportunity to find my dream spot. It was a treat to explore the variety of abandons. That phase only lasts about 3 to 4 weeks. Since the Stilts are being rolled out more slowly, and Patch has asked people to not flip houses right now, it looks like there’s a glut. Maybe houseboats won’t become rare again. I’d like to see that day.

The last time I went to Charleston, South Carolina (USA) to visit my sister at Christmas the temps dropped to below freezing. A slight drizzle created havoc on all the bridges. I thought my flight might be canceled. A week later they got about 8 inches of snow. Of course, it didn't last. They're not equipped for snow or ice. It's usually 70 or 80s at Christmas. Maybe your neighbor was inspired by that freak snowstorm.

@Chic Aeonin RL my late mother had exquisite taste. She was a stay-at-home mother of 7 kids (I was number 5 in the lineup). I'd ask her why she didn't get a job as an interior designer. She said that she liked doing it for our family but didn't want the headache of trying to please clients. My youngest brother inherited her talent and made a career of it. I understand where you're coming from.

I know you mentioned that you have retired, but do you hire yourself out as an interior designer? 😊

For once, people listened to Patch. It’s been hard to restrain myself from hopping, considering the wealth of choices that are available.

You know we're addicted, Patch, to seeing what else is out there. I landed a lovely place in Sundae Afternoon. Thank you, all Linden employees, and the wonderful Moles for bringing this all together before Christmas.

That would be fine with me, since I like houseboats and I love to hop.

Remember the Vics last year. Maybe none of them came out on Christmas day, but they were released (it seemed like 24 hours a day once they got rolling.) They probably had different challenges they were dealing with in 2019. I'm grateful the Lindens and Moles have been able to accomplish so much in 2020.

I think you only missed out on the problems. Only two test regions were released. I didn't get a stilt either. Hopefully they'll be able to have the full 3900 homes released starting tomorrow. With that many being rolled out in waves, you should be able to land one.

I wanted interior doors for the Trads that didn't have them, because I didn't necessarily want the add-ons that people made for them. I'm glad they're giving us doors for the stilts.

I might not have been waiting with bated breath for the stilts, but I am getting swept up in the excitement of a possible full release today. 🤩

Looked like another test region appeared for Stilts on Water. I clicked and got the sold out message. Apparently getting closer to a full release.

Log out and log back in. You can refresh again.

I got one houseboat this morning, released it, and it was claimed before I logged back into the land page.

I'm counting on the forum to let me know when the release happens. It's been raining Trads, so beautiful abandons always make me happy.
