  1. I think the Hammies do, @syndi Pearl @JessycaJayne @Varistentia Varriale
  2. Yes, that's the easiest way to keep track. My alt landed a Newbrooke in Saraellen. I thought I had caught and released the same place 3 times already, however, it was different parcels in the same region. Today, the fourth time was the charm. lol
  3. I think @Frigga Freidmanwas just teasing. @Patch Lindenhas trademarked "Soon" and "Soonish".
  4. Simply Shelby has a couple sets that would work for the log homes (or maybe even the fantasy homes). Only 25 lindens for each set at her Tuesday sale.
  5. I had a stilt on land in Dragonet recently. Not a member of any army. It might have been a coincidence, since it was tempting to hop a lot, due to the availability of stilts.
  6. It still looks better than what I'd come up with on my best days. You'll be missed!
  7. Now's the time to go for Stilts on Land. They seem to actually be near the water. At least the two I landed today were.
  8. I came across a really private Trad in Paislee Springs, which I'm going to release now (6:40 a.m SLT). It borders on a mountainous area that divides the Trads from the campers. Hidden springs, picnic table, and relaxing vibe.
  9. I've learned to say "Never is never." My alt just landed a Trad with a front-facing water view. It's high above houseboats. My fave views are overlooking (but not right on top of) harbors. It's landlocked, though, so I'll need to rez my vehicles elsewhere. Not a bad trade-off for a great view.
  10. Most of the stilts I've landed had the decks facing out on the water. I'm not crazy about road-facing decks, either. Don't get me started on the square houseboat parcels where the decks face the neighbors. (I understand the reasoning behind it but makes me unable to hang onto them, no matter the location). And then there are the Trads, where I thought I wanted a water facing view. I've come to realize that I actually want the back of the house to face the water. I don't tend to hang out on the front porch.
  11. My very first houseboat was on a square, and it worked out fine. I used the Wallower, it had a wonderful view, and it was on the end. I didn't get as lucky with my later houseboats.
  12. This is the best time to be hopping around and playing Game of Homes. I live for beautiful abandons when new themes are released. I had been waiting in anticipation for the houseboat regions near the chalets to be released. Go find the perfect houseboat for you!
  13. I'm glad you found a keeper, @EnchantrixLisa. I've rarely been interested in the square houseboat parcels for the reasons you've given. I have certain houseboats that I like to use (Wallower and Evening Star). If I can't rez them in a decent orientation, then I won't keep the parcel.
  14. I guessed that, too, since I have the one she did for the Trads.
  15. I have encountered obnoxious security orbs in Belli. They aren't the ones that are provided with the Linden homes. They extend into nearby parcels or into the public roadway. One was in a houseboat area, four houseboats away from where my alt had her houseboat. The message kept coming through to vacate the area whenever I landed on the alt's houseboat. It took me awhile to find it, so I could block it and AR it. That seemed pretty anti-social to me. By the way, I am an introvert that doesn't use security orbs. I expect people to be sitting on my furniture or adjusting the settings on the firepit when I'm not at home.
  16. I noticed an interesting phenomenon the last couple days. I’ve been flipping Trads on a couple alts. They’ve been landing in similar nearby regions; all with water views. They were Gentle Grove, Evard, and Deer Pass. I chalked it up to sheer luck, but it seemed like a pattern was developing.
  17. A lot of my haphazard exploration is through GoH. I'll land in a region where I don't plan to keep a house and then find a hidden gem of a park nearby. So love those surprises, Moles and Lindens!
  18. To commandeer your thread, Pru, I was just at Chippewa Junction at the elaborate train station. The natural place for a train rezzer. Why, oh why, isn't there one there? There is the possibility that I was too blind to see it. The signs tend to be small. Automobile rez zone, but not one for trains.
  19. Of course no Tiny home is complete without a waffle dispenser. 😊
  20. I get more than a little intimidated when I see @Marianne Little’s finished designs. 👏👏👏
  21. Could they be using a temp rezzer for their furniture? I believe the use of those are a violation of the covenant. I’ve never used them but the little I know about them is that they are hard on regions. Hopefully someone more informed can explain.
  22. I hope you change your mind about getting a Newbrooke. I reserved judgment on the original introduction of the theme. I'm surprised at how much I like it. I would love to see what you would do with a home.
  23. You'd be competing with me or my alt for a Trad, because I live for abandons during a theme release. Not that I wouldn't try to send it back to you if it was the house you were trying to get back.
  24. Right now is the time for people who long for a stilt on pier. They are showing up on the land page! I'm not a person who tries to swap. It's too nerve wracking. Unlike other folks, I don't usually have success. Nine times out of 10, it fails for me. I definitely wouldn't do it during a new theme release. I'm even afraid to try for another Newbrooke, because I'm afraid I'll end up in the same region that I let go. Probably get the same house back! The queues are unpredictable right now. It's been a long hoped for perk that I'd like to see become a benefit with super premium: being able to transfer a home between accounts that we/our alts have. It's not a benefit that I would want to use that often. There have been a few times I would have stayed put for awhile if I'd had that ability.
