My alts weren't able to log in. "No Game of Homes for you!" Ironically I am able to log in under my main account. Wouldn't it be wonderful if my fervent wish would come true -- the ability to swap Linden homes between premium alts and main accounts? Maybe we're getting "super" premium in 2021!

I think my favorite model is the Santiago. That surprised me because, I don’t generally go for homes that are 2 storey or have many rooms. What won me over are the balconies on the front and the back. I’m able to have a decent view from either vantage point. I’ve tried all locations—started with OP, then OL and finally OW. So far I haven’t made a commitment to any of the choices. I’m too clutzy for totally OW. I keep walking out the front door and immediately land in the drink. Those are great for displaying the Jian Orcas, though.

They’re going to be spoiled for other abandons. I can attest to getting the same discarded Trad multiple times on different accounts. Ah, but to land a gem is certainly worth the gamble.

I realized that my alt's home in Winters Elm is within walking distance to Trafalgar. I took a tour with my Zooby baby Lilah and corgi (which doesn't have a name yet). Thank you for your hospitality, Nando. We spent most of our time underwater in the garden.

This is my favorite time of rolling releases, @Teresa Firelight — all the wealth of beautiful (and not so beautiful) abandons. 😊

@Leora Greenwoodit might be an issue with all viewers, since I've encountered it. I use the official SL viewer. Tp'ing seems to work as a fix.

I didn't realize until today when I was trying to find the name of the region that my alt claimed it on my anniversary. I don't know why I didn't take it in when I first got it. I was amazed to have landed it by its name. It wasn't one I had even be aware of. If it was a wonderful location, I would have hung onto it. Alas, it's just a photograph in my book of memories.

The last time this happened to me with a houseboat, the land page was glitched. It also felt like a message from my late husband on what would have been our 20th anniversary. I released a Vic, and when I went back to the land page to select another house; it showed that I already owned a houseboat in Eagles Fly. Houseboats hadn’t been an option. The eagle was my husband’s emblem. I had to contact live chat to get it fixed. It took two Lindens to figure it out, since they were puzzled by it, too.

I’m an avid GoH player, since I possess a restless spirit. My alts seem to land the pretty damn near perfect spots, which elude my main account. My goal has been to finally settle somewhere that feels like home. The longest keepers have been my houseboats, maybe because they have been so rare until now. My continuing evolving criteria: Trads — Lush green front-facing river view where I can slip my kayak into the water and paddle long distances. Ah, Deckard, I still kick myself for giving my alt’s home up. I’m rolling the dice and hoping to find something equal to it. Houseboats — I’m not as big a fan of square parcels, because they limit the models that can be used. My faves are the Evening Star and Wallower. Most of the time, their orientation doesn’t work for me on the square parcels. In light of that, I lucked out with my alt’s spot in Lollipop. It has a lovely sunset view of the Aurelia lighthouse (with draw distance cranked up a bit). It feels open and private at the same time. Campers — I’m a fan of tiny houses. I love the landscaping that the Moles have done with the regions. I wish they were on bigger parcels. I never end up keeping them, no matter how much I enjoy them. Vics — I wanted to love them, because I think they look lovely. I use the flowers from the creation pack in my Trad home landscaping. Most of the homes are too sprawling for me. Log Homes — Loved the landscaping but missed the access with open water. Most of the time the homes weren’t oriented to face water. Haven’t had one for awhile. Stilts — These are where my criteria is in flux. My very first stilt was on a pier in Sundae Morning. I find the pilings that mark off the parcels a little disorienting. Even though, I liked the spot, the waterways felt too cramped. My alt landed a beautiful abandon OP that has wide waterways and feels very private. My heart skipped a beat when I got it.

@Rabid CheetahI got a chuckle out of your description of the Trads. I guess that’s why @Patch Lindendescribes the Linden homes as “starter” homes. In my case, they’re retirement homes, after 14 years in SL. I love discovering the unique touches in landscaping that the Moles and Lindens have made. I stumble across hidden gems, as I roll for the “perfect” home for that week (or day or month).

My very first houseboat in August 2019 was on my alt's account. And now the one I'm keeping is also on that alt's account. It really came down to perspective. I actually like being farther away from the lighthouse. The one I kept feels a little more private, too. With the square parcels, you're limited to what houseboat you can use. I couldn't use the one's I prefer (the Wallower or Evening Star) in Hammerhead.

If you can believe it, I had a view from another direction, too. Couldn't justify keeping both.

I logged into my non-Bellisseria skybox and immediately got the restart bell. Then I tried to check out Cowrie and that was offline. When I got booted to another Linden region, many of the surrounding regions were offline.
