But that doesn't cut any ice...a person is responsible for what happens with their SL account, and if someone else has the password, it's still their responsibility. Or, could you have paid another avatar with a similar name? Maybe. Check your Transaction History.

Do the alts HAVE any Outfits? The newer viewers don't display system folders if they have no contents.

You can do that in Phoenix or Firestorm, in the Phoenix (or Firestorm) tab of Preferences, the Building sub-tab. However, I'm not sure that it will change the center of rotation of the prim with regards to a script. It may just be in effect for the Build tools.

You "tried starting another one"? We need some more information here. If you have a free Basic account, you can't own either a Linden Home or any other land on the Mainland. If you have a Premium account, you can get a free Linden Home (not the same one, but you may be able to get the same style of home), OR You can buy up to 512 square meters elsewhere on the Mainland, and not be charged any monthly recurring fee (tier) for it. If you choose this option, you have more freedom as to what you can build, but the prims of the house will eat into your allowance (a 512 m2 parcel is allowed 117 prims.) If LL wants to charge you an additional $5 a month for a land parcel, my guess is that you still have an active Premium membership, and either a Linden Home or another piece of land somewhere else. Check the Land section of your account information and see if you own any.

No. You can have several accounts, and even go back to an old one, but each one is treated as a separate entity. If your neglected account is a free Basic one, it will not be deleted even if you don't use it for a long time If you are Premium, it will be deleted when you stop paying your dues. Even so, you can sometimes reactivate a deleted account by sending a request to LL.

1. Are you using a current viewer, or a very old one? If you're still on, say, Emerald or Viewer 1.xx, upgrade to Phoenix, Firestorm, or Viewer 3. 2. You may have a bad internet connection or firewall problems. Do you have other SL accounts, and do they work correctly?

If you can't fly at the height your platform is set to, get a flight assist. There are many such...one popular one is called a "flight feather". While wearing your assist, you can fly to any altitude.

A region can be set by its owner to only allow age verified residents, or only residents who have payment information on file, or both. Unfortunately, sometimes a region that has these restrictions experiences a "false positive" and excludes someone that it should not. Talk to the region owner. If toggling the setting does not correct the problem, you should both file support tickets with Linden Lab. Be sure to reference each other's ticket.

You can't use a prepaid card with Linden Lab, but you CAN use it to buy $L at one of the reputable third party exchanges. I use VirWox.

Linden Lab does not accept most pre-paid cards. If yours is not accepted, try buying $L from a reputable third party site such as VirWox.

This is a complete scam. Do NOT give anyone your password, EVER. Also, Abuse Report this person for fraud. Include the relevant chat logs. If you aren't saving chat and IM logs, you can enable that in Preferences for use in the future.

A "child avatar" is an avatar that LOOKS like a child. If their account is age verified, child avatars may go to sims of any maturity level. What is NOT allowed is "sexual age play"...using a child avatar to simulate having sex with a minor child. While having child avatars in a Gorean setting may technically be within the limits of this policy, please be aware that you are in a gray area. If someone objects and reports people in your area for age play, they may very well be banned from Second Life. You yourself will *probably* not be punished, but...you're walking very close to a line here, one that Linden Lab takes very seriously.

In my opinion, Earn 2 Life is a scam. So are all the places that advertise "Earn Free $Lindens!" You can make a few $L playing the game "Linden Realms". Collect colored crystals, turn them in for money. You can get a job as a dancer, club host/greeter, or other positions. You can learn to make things, and sell them to other residents. (This is how most people make any significant amount of money in SL...but like any business, there are startup costs and success isn't guaranteed. By far the easiest way to get $L is to simply buy some with a credit card or a verified PayPal account.

I have the same problem. Details: 1. I have a store, and an item listed on MP via Magic Box 2. Item is a notecard. Copy/Trans permissions. Sale price is $L0 (freebie) 3. Tried setting item to $L1. Doesn't work. 4. Tried resetting Magic Box. Doesn't work. 5. Tried putting item in its own folder and dragging folder to Merchant Outbox. Doesn't work. 6. Using Firestorm 4.0.1 viewer.

Since you can't Edit someone else's objects without permission, another way to see some information about them is to right click and select More/Inspect.

If you were the only group member, LL deleted your group. Groups need at least two people in them to continue to exist (one of the people can be your own alternate account though). I'm not sure what can be done about group owned land if the group that owns it is dissolved, though.

Cinnamon gave you a perfect answer. Pregnancy, like much else in Second Life, is all roleplay, 'let's pretend". If you WANT to be "pregnant", there are lots of props and toys you can get to add to the fun. If you don't, just ignore that silly message, your BF's equipment doesn't know what it's talking about. It might be that your group role does not have the ability to post IMs to the group chat. You can check that in the group window, under Roles and Abilities.
