  2. I will definately be snapping some piccies there thank you Looks superb!
  3. I don't officially volunteer but I will always help wherever I can. I will give lindens if someone is upset or in trouble and doesn't specifically ask for them. But..... Oh..:matte-motes-bashful: My.. :matte-motes-zipped: God.. I just realised Hippie, I met you waaay way before Hippestock at the Island you help at! ;o I didn't actually need any help but we and a lady friend of yours had a very pleasant conversation for some ten minutes or so. I remember it like yesterday and it was at least two years ago. I distinctly thought at the time..wow! how cool a Hippie!
  4. YEAH! I saw that too Dres! The Rocky Horror Picture SLhow thread! lmaooo Oh and ty Valerie I was actually officially lounging on a cloud, but fell off *winx Totally awesome picture and outfit as usual Marianne! Wow pixie that is really nice! probably borderline perhaps? although you can't actually see anything.. the water mustn't be too cold hey ^^? lolliez!
  5. Oki Doki. I just lurv this ♥。♥ "A Dream Realised" Heaven knows, (pun intended lol), it took me long enough to perfect.. I had to make the wings inworld and all.. (a little rough but hey :-) This is the censored version of course. Extremely low resolution. Oh and so nice to meet you inworld Storm. (Even though I only said Hi :^) It's so cool meeting people in the pixels. You and Keli look fantastic in a piccie together. Inspiration gained from Flicker pics such as Maureen Boccaccio's astounding "Falling Petals", Squashy Beeswings exquisitely beautiful faery image and Steven William Rimmer's real world antique masterpiece sketch "Fall Of Day". (think Swan Song/Led Zeppelin).
  6. Mayalily wrote:Anyhow, I think you'd be the only one who thinks my Fairy play is cool. The rest I know think it's a little weird. However, after careful consideration of what they think, does it really matter in the great scheme of things? Faerie play weird? Definately not!. It's one of the things I haven't done yet and really do look forward to. I have NO idea what fairies get up to ^.^ but I will figure it out. I wish my shop welcome fairy was a little me, that would be just fantastic. Have you seen some of the exquistely beautiful SL Faerie Imagery on flicker? By some of these very own forums posters. Yet another group, such as Tinies, that could have a special period of visitation at SL Birthday events and the like. Faeries, superb in mythology, supreme in SL :-)
  7. Congratulations for new Member... wha.. ^-? eek!.. :matte-motes-oh-rly: oh my.. o.0 Well done ^^
  8. Ditch the UN and I will come. They are so out of touch it's not funny. > Apart from the experts on disability, < the rest seem more and more to profit from the misery they do nothing to assist with. They need to do better than ask others to clean up the mess their band aid policies and beliefs result in.
  9. iDon't care about anything with a bite taken out of it. good point though.
  10. It's a great Idea. So much LL could do that appears to be easy, such as, your idea, all noobs assigned to the Welcome group. We all know that the behaviour at the welcome islands is generally atrocious. Don't send them there and expose them to those groups who insist on loitering. Wonders if these noobs group chat questions could auto link/post to a Welcome group here in the forums too? *looks for Kudos button.. oh, wrong area.
  11. I play music. It has cost me thousands upon thousands and has earnt me thousands upon thousands. Anyone care to elaborate on that one? lol Hardly a game.
  12. Ladies who lounge, I love it! very funny 8^) and ty Syl
  13. I am going to join Syl and Valerie in the "Lounge Area" of the Vanity thread This has been seen by Flicker folks before. Please pardon my total newdity ;o
  14. Yes I do play second life. If you are careful about it it only brings you pleasure & joy. I also learn second life. What started as and what still is a technical exercise for me, allows me to advance my skills in an online environment at a level of complexity of my choosing. I can't think of any other environment where you can enjoy it immensely and learn at the same time. One of the things LL would do well to emphasise to the broader web. Maybe it should be gamified somewhat, by way of a voluntary inworld kudos/reporting system, (when a less familiar user who is not an alt reports you as having helped them) and ranks resulting in a predetermined scale of reduced land fees? Then there would be a kind of formal end goal for those who seek such a thing. There would have to be proof such as a submission to the governer or something to protect it from being exploited, such as individual determinations by a nominated LL employee/custodian type person. Or if you gain enough credits you can have a last name or special historic last name of your choosing or something. There are a whole heap of initiatives that could be implemented from a long term plan. I don't believe that these are original ideas I am proposing. I am sure others MUST have presented similar in the past.
  15. If i had a mixing console like the one in your profile I wouldnt be playing much of SL
  16. Ciaran Laval wrote: I assume you're talking about tier costs, because the sale price of land has never been lower since I joined in 2007. I put in a ticket the other week to buy some abandoned land next to my current land and was charged L$1 per metre, that's overpriced these days, when I started in 2007 L$10 - L$15 per metre was common. Interesting information ty. From your kind advice, I will look into it further. If something goes amiss? I can blame you lololol *jks
  17. I've been saying it ever since I joined and in no way will I EVER buy land until the price drops by about three quarters of it's current level. (half? maybe just maybe...) Neither will I return to my previous level of enthusiasm in making original items until this happens. Too many scams, too many variables and the over inflated prices make it a whole lot less fun. After repeated failed attempts at securing this type of gamiing? sector, the one way LL could cause a tsunami of new and never ending users is to make it incredibly good value for money. Yes it kind of is already, (only if you know how to enjoy it), but imagine the labs reputation if the prices were low. If you are a verified creator or something you could get reduced rates ^^ and noobs get double the free space. This would make SL not just a curiosity thing, it would make SL an essential social networking tool for everyone. The ONLY 3d social networking tool there is. The time is NOW LL to drive the facebookers, googleplussers etc etc MAD by casually stating "3D wirtual vorld? yes of course - we invented them ;p come on over!. and btw.. its incredibly good value for money" and the crowd will roar.. \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ oh and Ishy's Fornophillia Pink Marble Skin, *looks down Brady Bunch Style ^^... is 1 of the best skins in SL
  18. Wowies! That's very cool Charolotte! Constructive criticism? none really It's a superb effort for your first one! I even gave you one kudos which I've never done before lolool 8-)
  19. Hmmm I am encouraged by this result.. The first attempt was captured in Fraps, imported into Flash, saved as an avi then converted to wmv with no audio lol The second, (this one) is just an avi. Smaller by 7.3mb even with stereo audio. Track time stretched for synch and has custom flange effect with inverted stereo swirl intro that is also time stretched for final synching too. The important thing about this trial for me is that I can use flash for tweening text and all that sort of thing. It's not quite the fullscreen 1080 HD that I like but that wasn't the purpose of the exercise. This is going to be great fun!
  20. Wow I Lurv In Extremo! For a lil bit anyway Anything that combines ancient instruments with modern hard rock is ok by me! What is that 10 string thing he plays!?!? o.0 (mandocellos only have 8>/4 pair of stings). I want one!:matte-motes-crying: Here's a little known yeller band from the 80's the Lime Spiders. I inherited a cassette? I think it was. With: (how appropriate for SL lol) Slave Girl. He sounds like he screams the whole thing! (no video of the original so just a link). Also in the families vinyl collection is Slade, their lead singer really goes off.. their only tune I really like - Gudbye 2 Jane: Both of those singers have voices that really sound like they are screaming even though they sort of aren't. I think "Noddy Holder" from Slade, is Robert Plant from Led Zeppelins father! lololol BUT! the two best screamers? I have ever found are the lead singer of canadian band "The Guess Who", umm (googles).. Burton Cummings! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY-G8MNlCAU&feature=fvwrel Albert Flasher! I love that old tune! (a little hint of his screamability there) and our very own ancient and legendary "The Loved Ones" with Gerry Humphries singing: Everlovin Man... He was just AMAZING in this tune. (rip Gerry :smileysad:) Just imagine if he and Janis Joplln had a baby lmaooo and 1966 isn't a bad effort! 8^) Just the impact of Burton and Gerry going from low to high is unbelieveable.
  21. I always adventure out around my home sim. Always meet someone interesting too. It's great fun!
  22. LOL! That's just hilarious! *prays for Keli's soul.... big M gonna get u lol
  23. Oh how cool! I'll definately go for a look at that/those. Ive been trying the Firestorm customisable AO thingy too. It's very impressive for custom sets. (not dances of course ^^ that I know of atmo:) Thanks everyone!
  24. Phil Deakins wrote: Email is a good way of keeping in touch with people. Do a search on the web to learn about it Ooo you smarty pants! But yes you're right ;p Telling people about SL is like sharing your personal toe nail clipping theories Btw, I just did mine, want to hear all about it? *gigglez I do think SL's time will come again. Things go in cycles u know. Like.... ^^ yo yo's No, I dont mean home boys saying hello to a crowd *rolls eyes, I mean those round spinning top things on strings that go "around the world" and umm.... umm.. :matte-motes-confused: oh forget it...:smileysad: lillol
  25. Whenever i walk by some one, I do this: or 8^) then keep going. If they are friendly they might say hello. It works without fail. *winx (if you like meeting people that is).
