Wow Keli I would say don't worry about it too much. We aren't even on eachothers lists are we? But you know that at the drop of a hat we can party/chat/explore and have a darn good time. I never thought it necessary to "friend" you because we are already friends and that wont change because of anything. That would be my definition of a friend. Someone who isn't on your list, but you just know you can party with at any time. Sure your name is easier to search than mine but I know where to find you 8^)

I had a ton of shops once, but now, regardless of sales I just dont really see the need. I do have the one of course but I am in the process of updating all my products so it isn't what you would call well stocked. All my stuff is PG and it sells ok but I got over the spend lots of money on rent thing ages ago. Now I have the funds to do anything I want and I love it!. Thats about 2k a week in rent I dont have to pay anymore, About 2k a week that doesnt go into anyone elses pocket landwise.

Why not become a member of your local/national copyright authority? Most offer some form of publication or info service that outlines clearly what is and what is not possible. You may not even have to be a financial member to gain most of this information. Leaflets/info sheets and electronic information abounds. Also reading copyright information for individual items, although boring, is a great way to find out more about these laws and processes. Just a thought

Download the latest drivers and see how it goes. Latest is the 11.1 catalyst suite @ 95.1 megabyte download size. Every video card comes with the appropriate fan built into the card itself. You cannot purchase any *normal video card that has not been tested with an adequate fan. Be aware of the *silent cards that have NO fan and rely on heat sinks for dissipation only. ATI catalyst control centres, and I imagine nvidia software is the same, allow you to take manual control of your graphics card fan speed for those who live in hot climates. There are also third party applications that allow you to do the same. Your only concern would be that your computer case has adequate internal airflow to ensure heat is removed promptly and efficiently. It is normal to clean or vacuum your fans, heat sinks and vent ports yearly to ensure your investment is protected. If you purchase a new video card yearly you can expect to see that message for at least a month or two every year. The trick is, only buy a card that has 1gigabyte of memory at this point in time. I ran a HD4800 with 1gb of memory for 12 months and had zero problems with it. This card continues to run SL on my younger sisters custom PC at Ultra settings. Any custom PC shop will stock these type of cards. The staff are always enthusiastic and will help you sort an appropriate purchase. Befriend the staff members of a reputable custom PC shop. They exist because of repeat customers, unlike the huge generic average trash peddlers.

It doesn't seem as some of the most prolific machinima producers have arrived here yet. Certainly there are some much loved contributors present. The most likely scenario is that yes, *someone is using the reporting functions for their own entertainment and vindictive stalking. Theoretically the new software will arm the labs with the tools to end us of these pests once and for all. Lets hope so. I think machinima must have a genuine storyline and actors rather than just be raw video of an event such as my trial ads. They are just short videos. They look good and you can sneak them into machinima conversations, although given the activities of reporting abusers it wouldn't surprise me if mine has been moved as well.

Yes of course this happens, It's only a game. There are those who wish to pry into others personal real lives by proposing some form of extensions, interfaces or services, but if someone was truly dear to you, they would have provided you with real life information. I suppose it would be dissapointing but real life is first and foremost.

It is somewhat amusing that those who wail endlessly about self imagined cliques, groups and profiteering, now espouse carpetbombing the new fora and all and sundry for those same reasons tenfold. How does that work? It is quite hilarious! Never mind the fact that remote, *mysterious ar'ing, profane language, disgraceful insults and blatant hypocrisy were the reasons for the larger community shunning these types in the first place. If it isn't surprising the same old things are happening again. Who would have thought those deemed outcasts and unfit for general civil communications by a majority would find a friend. Amazing! A good laptop will run SL no problems. They can and do in fact have equivalent hardware as in schmicko hotrod desktops. It is quite common for the latest graphic cards to flag a message regarding the running of SL until the labs update the software to include the very latest release graphics cards and features. This is well known by the majority who actually take the time to use the virtual world rather than speculate in areas where their knowledge is sparse.
