i remember my first contest i ever won, was "best in neko", and i didnt have any neko stuff on me i was a noobie and everybody had their names on the board except me, a dancer asked me if i was not gonna put my name in there, i said "what for.. im not gonna win anyways". to my surprise, i got the most votes and won the contest! sometimes people get together to help a noobie, like we do here in the forums.

But that is mostly a wild guess...)" it seems they have this idea of an easy way to change the colors but the idea got dropped or postponed. the option to change color of the interface can still be seen under the menu "debug" before you log in as "UI/Color settings". right now it only opens a "debug settings" window.

if you are using viewer 2, go to advanced menu, if you cant see it, press ctrl+alt+d to bring it out once there, go to Show Debug Settings, is almost at the bottom of the menu, that will bring the debug settings window in the search bar of the debug settings window, type renderunloadedAvatar select True as the option and close the window. your avatar will be un-cloud immediatly.

you dont have to switch to a third party viewer, try using the beta viewer, maybe they got that fixed, its version 2.7.1 by now. you can get it here i been waiting too for a good third party viewer based on Viewer 2, updated with the lastest code of the official current viewer. if im gonna switch to a third party viewer since V2 first beta, its gonna be Firestorm after they finish it, back in the Emerald days, they used to have a pretty updated viewer, the latest code from the Lab, along with their own modification, just like Kirsten does now. hope you find any you like.

its a great idea, it could be mixed with the fashion forum, something like... the show-off forum..

it seems like they get rid of Sports, there werent many threads started, it didnt catch much interest. the Lab is learning and adapting, creating new sections, mixing ones that are similar, and one thing that they learned is that they have to have General Discussions. then they are going to learn that many of the subjects is better to integrate them together here. as to snowboarding, its a lot of fun, i have tried it in one mountain and is great. i think wintersports are great, either you snowboard, ski, or use any other vehicle to slide down the snow

Viewer 2 has gotten many improvements, and there are still some on the way, and there always be ways it can be improved, thats a good thing, I hope it doesnt get to a point that there will not be any more ideas to improve it. I agree that it needs more flexibility, some people may want their windows to come from the right, some from the bottom, or the top, a high level of customization will attract many residents. also, it needs to bring more to the front the solutions to what people find a problem against using viewer 2, for example some say the interface is too big, under me > preferences > advanced, theres the slide to make it any size you want. it needs to provide enough tools for general creators to feel comfortable, to not look for any third party viewer unless they want something more specialized, that will keep creators happy enough. "Why do you think some users do not want to adopt V2?" some for nostalgia, some because of brand loyalty to a third party viewer, others dont like learning something new if their old ways of doing things still works. its important to take this step and learn to use Viewer 2, if not having it as a favorite viewer, because it's well known that viewer 1 will be obsolete. ----------------- by the way, Viewer 2 chat system has a way to have your chat conversations in a single window
