  1. I'm having fun wandering around the squished pickle, yesterday it was a bit laggy but today I'm able to zip through with no problem I took several pictures, a lot in my own houseboat, but I decided eventually to use one of the tubes available on the beaches, it was pretty funny trying to get a picture because every time I would try to focus on a houseboat my avatar would float off screen 🤣 I'm still on the floater, and am wondering where I'll end up at when I go back to my viewer. I love all of the open water to ride my boat around in, or in this case just to casually be pushed around by the tube. Another snapshot I took that I like, you can see my little houseboat putting along. The moles have done such a great job of putting this all together. In the short time that I started this post, I wandered into a bunch of rocks 😁 When you have a chance, grab a tube and see where it takes you let the winds be the guiding force in your ventures Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink.
  2. I did that with my alt, and got an older Linden home, plus I purchased some waterfront property cheaply I have a multi rezzer setup on it, it may only be 512 but I have made a few homes so far, including one with my houseboat. I've seen a few houseboats that are meant for homes on the marketplace and have considered adding one of those to my multi rez box. I also created a home in the sky. I love having three properties now, I have a home in three different continents 😍 But, I really don't blame others for keeping two homes, I did this mostly because I saw an opportunity to own more properties, and I do a lot of multi rez stuff so one house has multiple possibilities. Plus, they are paying for it, so it is not like they are doing anything wrong. I was really tempted a couple of days before the squished pickle was opened, I even abandoned my Tahoe home, then after consideration I thought of an alternative, and decided to get an older Linden home again, when I got a new one though, I was given back into my old one 🤣 One thing I have noticed, is that the property was a lot less expensive than I would have expected, I always see prices that are outrageous, this one was only 1400. I wonder if Bellerisa has anything to do with the lower price I got, I hope so because a lot of them sell for way too much. With that said, I did have to derender a couple of houses to get my view. The property at the top right, just connected to mine is for sale and I'm really tempted to buy it, but am holding off.. property ownership seems to be addictive 😁
  3. To give you a better idea, I took a picture The houses are packed really close to one another, you'll see a few spots for people to sit at, but I rarely see people out of their homes, besides at the infohubs. You'll see the paths I am talking about as well. Here it is from the ground level, I am sitting at one of the communal spots, all by my lonesome Still, I love my Tahoe home.. Compared to these new homes, and the landscaping, it hardly compares though.
  4. No, mostly just a few paths that eventually end, they wind through the narrow area of houses, and it would be crazy to even try to get a vehicle through them. Along the coast there are a few sidewalks, which are pretty nice - nothing compared to what we have though. There still are a lot of people living in these areas, I hope that Linden decides to keep one of the continents open for us.
  5. I often see people in the infohubs, usually a few groups of people are hanging out and sitting at the various tables. There are no real pathways to walk around, I mean, there are, but they are very small, and I rarely see anyone walking outside of their homes. There seem to be a few party spots too, where the green dots are stacked up on one another
  6. If it is any consolation, with the older homes you are only using 512 of your premium account's land holdings. You still have another 512 available to you. For my alt I have the old linden house (Tahoe is amazing) and yesterday I purchased another 512 parcel on the water for 1400 Linden's. That comes at no additional fees per month. I'm holding out for the newer 512 homes because I prefer having two moderately nice sized homes.
  7. It looks fantastic, I spent a while sailing around appreciating all of the work they put in it.
  8. Keep on trying, people are abandoning their homes in search for houseboats. If all else fails, there are some mainland parcels for sale on the cheap, I just got my waterfront 512 for $1400 lindens There are plenty of 512 old linden homes available too. But, don't give up quite yet.
  9. Wow, that place is crowded! Congrats to everyone who got a home
  10. Yay! Thank you for sharing this I took a few shots as well. There are so many homes, I wish the best of luck to everyone that has been refreshing their pages these past few weeks. And the mystery is finally solved!
  11. Aww, but they are soooo hungry
  12. Okay, I've been busy at work getting this ready. I had to learn how furware works, to get the text.. I should have just created a texture for it, but I really wanted to learn how to make this work They even have my little shed they can hang out in
  13. I really should build a little worm farm, and perhaps put my stuffed mole next to it as a guard.
  14. Thank you mole people, you have provided us such amazing homes, and landscaping. I really look forward to what you give us next. I wish I had some mole snacks to give you
  15. I'm enjoying the tulips in my yard There certainly are a lot of them! I mean, there are a lot!
  16. Walking around Ironwood hills, and a little frightened. Using my Ruth 2.0 avatar This region is so amazing, and creepy! I'd suggest against getting the coffee though. If you come here, be sure to bring a flashlight!
  17. Thank you I enjoyed seeing all of your creations, nicely done. Very comfortable, and atmospheric I love all of the hearts
  18. I really like the houseboats, and there were plenty available when I first got my house, but I decided to stay with the traditional house because I really prefer having a yard and a 32x32 plot for skyboxes. I love my home, it is off of a large river so there are only 14 houses in the region, with very little lag, and my yard is surrounded by trees and on top of a hill. If I wanted to, I could just rez my boat, and either move it, or just type in the coordinates in edit mode and be in the water, but there is a very convenient rez spot just walking distance from my home so that is not even necessary I opted to just use a free houseboat to navigate the waters of Bellisseria' and I love it, I get all of those scenic views when I want them, and I get to keep my yard. It is, for me, the best of both worlds. When I want to move around on it or explore off the boat, I usually just bring my alt along so it won't derez, and it is modify so if I wanted to change the furniture around I could do so. It is so gorgeous I love this area, the moles really did a fantastic job. Eventually there will be more houses behind me, but there is a pretty steep incline behind my yard, and I imagine the parcels will be a bit further off.
  19. I brought my alt to her new home, I also added a bookshelf and TV, and a few more animations. Now I need to learn how to make AV sitter do more things, like rez objects, and how to get it to work with more than one person at a time.
  20. My shed is now a mini home, complete with a few animations It even has a kitchen, with a sink, a mini fridge and microwave. And a bathroom All of it within a 5x6 shed. The furnishings are at the expense of 18 LI, The shed is an additional 20. A bit hefty, but I still have a lot left.
  21. Woot! Congratulations and welcome to the neighborhood
  22. I've seen that one before, I think there is another houseboat with a houseboat too. I only have the traditional home on Bellisseria, although I have laid claim to an empty dock. Squished pickle be damned! I have my second home. This houseboat is really cool, I'm surprised that it is completely free too. It runs a little slow, but for me that is perfect because high speed in vehicles really does a number on my connection when I pass into new regions. I love that it has a kitchen, dining room, bedroom and even a bathroom.
