To me, it makes more sense, to release only a portion at a time. The reasoning is so they can troubleshoot any bugs that may occur, it gives the users a chance to voice their feedback of the land, what they would like to have added or changed and so on. They can also fix any problems that exist in the regions such as roads, light poles, anything that they may have missed. As they continue to build more houses, they can use that input to further their creation, not to mention when there is a bug they are not swamped with trying to fix them. I think of us as more or less, the beta testers. Alternatively, they could have just put the whole project on hold, until it was completely finished. Which would just result in none of us having a newer linden home, and a host of issues that would need to be fixed. Of course, that is my opinion.

While exploring, I found that the boat houses have animations in them There is a second one, where you climb up the ladder on the dock. Nicely done mole people

xbox, I think it comes with Windows 10 by default. When you are in a game you want to record, hold the win key down, and 'g' and a little bar should appear with a record button on it

I've been having fun exploring for the past few days, today I drove around for a while. The lag was pretty bad in some areas, but for the most part it was manageable I created a video of my ventures today. VROOM VROOM!

It is not as fun, but I have had a lot more luck using wearable vehicles as of late. On the plus side, I can "rez" my vehicle anywhere I also use a speed booster to move along a little faster. My avatar complexity is at 36k, as I am wearing one of my most simple outfits.

My garage was mostly just a joke, but I went back to work on it a little more and I am happy with the results. It has a total of 19 for a land impact. A bit higher than what I would want, perhaps later I will use prim2mesh, and see if I can get it down a bit more. I can actually walk around in it, even with the vw parked 😎 And one more shot. I think I might make a little drive way, link it to this garage, and set up a rez box when I feel like having a garage in my yard, and it takes a tiny foot print It is not going to stay out permanently though. On the plus side, if I don't want to be silly, resizing it will be incredibly easy.

I got a free car today, so I decided to mod it a bit and take a drive around town. I really like the flying pig, it somehow feels appropriate. I love this bridge, just over it and about a block away is my home I forgot to take out the meter, that's okay I kind of like it. I also built a garage for my car, it is not a permanent structure, just something I did for fun. So far it is only ten prims, I think I will do a bit more with it, later. I actually drove it in there, my driving skills leave much to be desired though I have to say, this is incredibly fun, I love that Linden has provided us so much content.

Just as a side note, the Tahoe houses are pretty nice. If you get tired of refreshing, you can do a lot with them Add a few walls, a second floor, and 175 prims go a long way I only say this for two reasons, one so I can upload a picture because I love sharing them 😜 and two, because it can take several hours before a traditional house shows up. I have no idea when they are going to release new houses, I know they are working hard at it though. Regardless I wish you the best of luck.

Yep, that is about the only way to get one for now. On the plus side, when you refresh you will see the traditional house immediately when they are available, so you don't have to fool around with any of the pull down menu options. If you see one, grab it as fast as possible, don't even think of a name, just type a bunch of random characters, then hit the check box to accept their terms. If you take your time, someone else will get it first. You can change the name of your property after you get it.

It will show the old homes when there are no traditional ones available. It is the same page though, so you are in the right spot.

I love my plot, I'm off of the road, and slightly elevated so I don't have to worry about floods 😜 It really is a good location, I'm by a river, and my neighbors are nice. On my alt, I'm a bit torn - I really want a houseboat, but I already spend so much time working on skyboxes with my main that outside of being able to launch my boat and have a magnificent view it wouldn't get as much use. I purchased a multi rezzer so I can make as many skyboxes as I please, and take them out whenever I want a change of scenery, I'm sure I could even make an ocean front if I put enough time into it. I think I might just sit this one out on my alt, and hang back on the older linden home. I want to see what else they come up with as well, I might just end up getting a 512 later on, and then finding another smaller area on the mainland, then I'll have three properties to play around with 😍 It really is all up in the air right now. Anyway, I already have a really cool houseboat that was free And roomy, I even have a bathroom and kitchen With a beautiful view, that I can change whenever I want

I see nine green dots on the SSP, which is a pretty good sign They are all working at the houseboat portion of Bellisseria, which I think of as a water world kind of place😎 I wonder if the residents there will start to grow webbed feet, and gills. I can't say a definitive time line, but in the past week they have really shaped that area up and it is looking great. With that many houseboats in one area, I have to wonder if it is going to be a constant party.

While waiting for the houseboats, I got an older linden home in Tahoe which I really like. I don't want to give it up, yet I really want a boathouse. I decided to recreate it, to some extent with a few addition. it needs a lot of work still, but I plan on using it in one of my skyboxes later. Here it is, away from all of the other homes. It needs a lot of work still, but you are welcome to it if you want it. Currently it is 31 prims, but you probably could get it down to less by removing a few walls I added, the second floor, stairs, porch, and roof addition.

Thank you, I just used regular prims for them as well and painted them white, the texture isn't quite right, but it is hard to tell from a distance. I made the prims wide enough to go through both sides of the wall so they would take up less space. (It doesn't show the texture difference for some reason, it is noticeable up close though) Below you can see the top portion, that I need to correct because I didn't line it up right, I do that pretty frequently and then don't notice until I'm looking at a picture All of this furniture was purchased, my skybox is where I put my furniture My patio chairs and table were my last attempt. Adri De Luxe looks amazing, I'll have to shop there once I get my houseboat. Thank you for sharing the name.

You're right, sorry for misleading you. I should have said near future, that to me is shortly but my sense of time hardly represents everyones and I need to be more careful with my wording. Be sure to check out the SSP to see the progress they are making, they are doing a fantastic job

Keep the plot, don't abandon it. Submit a ticket and they will fix your mailbox for you. This is a bug that a few people are receiving, and it is an easy fix so just hold out.
