When you get a force-unpacked box it will be at the top of the list, you can cut again, then move to the full inventory window and try the paste.

LMB+RMB = walk If you try that with a camera hud on you don't walk, instead you get the RMB menu. I'd love to find one that doesn't block it.

From experience it stings, but the three days is over pretty quickly, and the sting does numb pretty quickly. If you come back, come back with grace and style and don't bite at the troll. Trouble I find with the camera HUDs is that they block you double mouse walking. It's much easier to use the debug settings, and double mouse isn't blocked.

There are pros and cons to this. Not everyone in SL is able bodied being the main one. One of my subs has epilepsy, it can be light triggered. I need to be very careful of any lighting effects I use at home and in play for this reason. Quite a number of others are visually impared and need to have certain screen settings to actually play SL. On the other hand, it is an equivelant right for the experience owner to perform an action they have permission for, as it is to set up a ban orb and keep all people with a certain attribute out of the region. "Don't like my rules, then you are free to leave" It's a hard one to balance. One way to balance it way might be that grid wide environment is not allowed, it must be a land/region based setting. Then lock it. People who don't like the lighting chosen can leave and go elsewhere. But the larger question here comes down to permissions. The current permissions system is not great. If I want to TP someone and set a suggested lighting I am also asking them for permission to force attach, permission to track their camera (look how many people turn off lookat in the TPV's to see how camera privacy is considered) and permission to force sit, and lock in place. Which of course means, I have been granted permission to apply any animation I desire. If the permissions system were more granular, that i could ask for Teleport and Lighting only, it might be possible to also then say "grid wide lighting, or land only lighting"

Simplistically.... There are two main ways information travels over the interwebs. One is called TCP/IP and one is called UDP. TCP/IP is used for all the important stuff like mesh, graphics, and money. UDP is used for all the unimportant stuff like chat, people's movement and so on. The bandwidth setting sets a throttle on the maximum amount of UDP you want at any time. Too much UDP and your TCP/IP dies. This is why it's a less-is-more setting.... delays or lost stuff like chat is no biggy, we just see it as lag, or lines appering out of order... but losing money, or seeing a grey texture never appear would make people grumpy. When you download a huge file it's one item. There is minimal chat between you and the server. When you download from SL you are downloading hundreds of little files. Each texture is 1MB or so, and they all come effectively one by one. Due to various technical reasons that are really outside LL's control, you can only download 10 or 16? (Not sure of the exact number) texture files at once. And each time you want a new one there is a whole handshake thing that slows it all down.

Consider that in real life the balance between the two main genders is about 50/50 or at most 51/49 in favour of the distaff. In SL this number is vastly weighted in one direction. There are so many female avatars for every male avatar. This might explain why you have a differeing proportion between the two worlds. Simply, there are less men here, so the number on your FL is lower.
