1. Today at 1 PM SLT we will have the opening of our new exhibition. This time nekonuko Nakamori presents her collection "nekonuko in Black&White" in the words of the artist: "I prefer color, so I don't have a lot of monochrome work. However, I also love black-and-white. This time, I dare to hold an exhibition with only B&W works. Except for one piece, all of them are new works." There will be a small opening party and all of you are invited!! Slurl http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Amityville/144/101/24
2. There are actually orbs nowadays that allow for people to exactly set the boundaries of their parcel, including altitude. So it is possible to protect your land how you want without interfering with people traveling past or even over your parcel. That's how far SL technology has progressed. So there are solutions that would benefit those who want to travel and explore and people who want to protect their land.
3. Most creators won't bother creating for any system part anymore. They won't even create for mesh heads that do not receive updates or support. They just go with the head that is most popular. I am sure that if you ask the right person to help, you will be able to get a look that you are totally happy with. I was late to join the mesh head club as well. I received a lot of help and i am glad that i made the change. More so because i have an abundant choice of skins and make ups to choose from.
4. Love that bikini, Where is it from if i may ask?
5. Yes, it is still active. They have great themed parties.
6. I sell vehicles in SL. It is common practice and accepted that if scripts are no mod but the rest of the vehicle is, that it is considered a modify item. There is nothing misleading about that. People can still changes textures and other parameters to their hearts content. We as creators only have 3 permissions to work with, so we choose the most relevant.
7. Why does this have to be repeated over and over? I have seen this discussion dozens of times now and it always becomes the same back and forth.
8. People are countering your argument and all you do is dismiss them. The comment i quoted makes me wonder if this is truly about the performance of your region or about the (supposed) drop in sim prices that did not go through.
9. They went so quiet that after getting frustrated with the lack of support and products available for it, i went with another brand.
10. I have anxiety and i get therapy for it. Both with a therapist and some online courses they set up for me. I find medication not really helpful and found more solace in being coached and given tips and training how to handle it. I do hope you have access to care like that.
11. What both Jobs and Musk have in common is that they both founded severely overrated brands.
12. I do not see where you were deemed a lower class shopper and a creator can sell things with any perms they choose. it is your choice whether to buy from them or not.
13. Contemplation Humans are unpredictable. I am always cautious. Maybe i am not always correct but a little self preservation doesn't hurt.
14. I would recommend these https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/APHORISM-Bella-Wedge-Sandals-White/9647102
15. Advertising has mostly gone outside of SL. Social media is where it is happening these days. There are several dedicated websites for promoting sales events and also sites like Flickr and Facebook are being heavily used for promotion. You are almost forced to have a presence there and will miss out on a lot of business when you don't The Marketplace is also a good tool if used correctly. Do regular promos there so you remain on the first pages of results and it brings business. Last but not least. The good old store group. It still pays to have one in SL. It is the most direct audience you can have. Keep people engaged and offer them something good and you will always have a good customerbase.
16. I do. I asked in more places than here and the responses differ. It did make me realize that the number of people who have it on permanently is a lot smaller than i thought.
17. How many of you use the Advanced Lighting Model in your viewer? https://gyazo.com/e4b335dc7a3737f32d50480479804c63
