Thank you for your answer. So people visiting my store wont be able to see the windlight i edited and set for the parcel?

So i edited a windlight in the Firestorm viewer and then saved it. I then applied it to my parcel via the code in the description field. How can i now share this windlight with my neighbour so they can have their parcel set to it as well and others can see it. I hope i worded this right.

You can go to your dashboard and top right will be a picture that will lead to the selector for the Linden Homes. If there are any available they will show there and you can select a theme (Traditional, Victorian, Camper,Boathouse) and one will be assigned to you. Then you get the location and teleport there.

There are several giftcard systems in Second Life but i don't know any who will let yo do that. Plus i think they are all not owned by Linden Lab (as far as i know). I don't think merchant will just give away free cash.

I wouldn't be sad if they put up more requirements to open an MP store. Like wanting to know your rl info and such. I know people will still fake that as well but i would find it legitimate for them to have that info.

I think it should be up to the creator to decide what happens to assets they created. If they choose not to go with the flow and don't create BOM compliant items that should be their decision and the market will determine how they respond to that. So i don't agree with the user or Linden Lab making this decision for them.

I don't see making uploads free as a big incentive. They already cost pennies on the dollar and are easily recuperated once a product goes on sale. Just like in RL, it costs resources and investment to make a product. From the top of my head i wouldn't know what Linden Lab could do to improve means and tools for creators since i am an avid believer in that the users have to create their own ways/platforms to promote their business. Like was said before; they made land cheaper, which makes it easier to own an inworld store and you have more tools for support which benefits you as a creator as well. Also the addition of the new Bellisseria continent has opened new avenues to create and make money. I also follow the improvements on the marketplace with a keen eye. It is far from perfect but i see progress there as well.

Usually the lower the price, the bigger the risk ending up homeless. Yeah i would research thoroughly and pay a little extra and go with a reputable company.

And keep in mind that the dimensions of a profile pic are 4:3. So a square pic will look squashed.

You can "connect" MP to Caspervend for administrative purposes like tracking sales and provide redelivery but you will have to setup your products on MP just like you would if you did not own Caspervend. It only works one way. This knowledge base article gives more info
