  1. None of the big three bodies do super small breasts well. Below about 30 on the slider they start to deform. Of course this only matters if your not dressed, but then there is little point in the mesh body. I don't know of a body that will really work better though. I personally don't recommend TMP to anyone. As for shoes the vast majority of shoes are fitted for Slink, but the number available for Belleza and Maitreya are growing and you really should not have any trouble finding something to fit. As for appliers, if you want to go that route then yes will need specific appliers for the body you choose. If you cost over of the main 3 bodies the fete is also an every growing collection of fitted mesh available.
  2. The need to apply is long past. Just download the latest release viewer.
  3. What percent use mesh products? No clue. Of the active users, meaning people who login in daily, I think the percent that use mesh is high...i will wild guess 70% have some mesh. As for what percent use mesh bodies...far lower. Define prevail...if you want to know if people will always make ssystem clothes...yes. I think aas a percentage of sales though system clothes will decline. IMHO the peple spending real money in SL are buying mesh. I am nearly 100% mesh all the time, with the exception of my head. I do wear a fair amount of appleir clothing which I suppose is closer to traditional, but my purchases are still predominantly mesh.
  4. Sucks not being able to login for sure. I would try a few things. Like was previously mentioned, it would be very helpful to get some details on your PC and connection. First thing to do is to make sure you are testing using the atest release of the Linden Lab viewer. Don't test on a third party viewer. Do a clean install of the viewer just ot be safe.(https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-Second-Life/ta-p/1375231) Once you have the latest viewer installed, login directly to http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cyclops/120/139/5. you can do this by pasting that url into the drop down box next to the Log in button in the viewer. Enable the Advanced Menu by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D on your keyboard, then enable the Develop menu by clicking Show Develop Menu from the Advance Menu. Click Develop | Avatar | Character Tests | Test Female If you get that far, log off and back on at the same place. That will reset eerything again and make sure that if you had something on that was causing an issue it will be gone. As was mentioned, give this some time to see if youa re stable or not. If you are still crashing, we need to look at inventory. For inventory overall size doesnt matter, but if you do have a large inventory then it must be well organzed. If you have folders in inventory (trash and objects are two big ones to look at) which have 1000's of items in them, then those folders need to be cleaned up. In fact any folder with more than a few hundred items in it should be broken up into sub-folders and organized. Not an easy thing to do on Radegast, but it can be done. Start by emptying trash...then work on others. If your still crashing then I will have to guess that it relates to something with your setup. Feel free to shoot me a message in world. Hope you get it sorted.
  5. The short answer is no, slink shoes are made to fit slink feet. You didn't say which body you have though so there could be a more in depth answer if you can share that.
  6. 1. Why ask here? 2. You can't, should have exported the mail to PST first.
  7. Have you tried it on the latest build from LL? That's where I would start. At least that way you will get a sense for whether the issue is windows or viewer related depending on the outcome. I assume also that you have tried Skype or some other tool on windows 10 to make sure headset is generally working.
  8. Well nearly every viewer users the same layout now. FS is the most popular alternative, can either look fairly similar or have more of the old style elements. CoolVL and Singularity use the v1 style UI exclusively. Pretty much all of the other viewers are clones of the LL UI with additional options thrown in. Sometimes those options affect the UI but most of the time they are just settings or access to settings. I personally think everyone should be well versed in using the default viewer. Beyond that it's personal choice.
  9. I have a little. But not enough to comment too much. I will say that the rendering of JB seems inconsistent. I have been at simes, with the slider fully to the right and still had avatars looking like JB. I do think that the way they have done most of the features is fine. There really needs to be a slider in the new advanced dialog for rendervolumelodfactor as that is a critical part of my photo settings.
  10. Your not really asking a question, but the answer is fitted mesh. Many designers are now making mesh fitted to certain bodies which allows you to wear clothes and a mesh body and not use an alpha.
  11. Which server channel is your simulator on? I have not seen issues on my sim.
  12. Step 1: fump firestorm. If you can handle the v1 UI look at Singularity or CoolVL. If you want v3 style just try the others till you find what works. 2. Get more RAM. Between windows and SL you will eat through your ram in no time. You will be swapping to disk and it will noticably reduce your performance. Until you get more RAM make sure you don't run any other software while you run SL. Especially not a web browser. Those two things should help a ton.
  13. i would not run any laptop 100% of the time on ultra, but this will handle Ultra without issue when needed for pictures.
  14. Yep, you need the alpha. If you are having issues with clothes on the mesh body can post that here or feel free to msg me in world. I can help.
  15. lisha is close but in this case I would try a simple relog on a new region first. If that doesn't work, then clear just your Inventory cache not the whole cache. You have to do this manually, the instructions are at the bottom of the page on the Firestorm wiki she shared. Clearing the whole cache is only ever recommended when you have specific texture rendering issues. It's just better to have a full cache.
  16. In my opinion, the guy gave you bad advice. Go back to the LL viewer until you are more familiar with how SL works and you have a true need for the feature set of FS. Firestorm is not a beginner's viewer. By your own admission its confusing...I would go back.
  17. Go shopping, learn to sail or fly planes, have loads of sex, learn to landscape, or just go shopping...
  18. If by names you mean last names I think we know for sure at this point that we won't see the option to have or change names ever again. The whole point of display names is to allow people to do exactly what your talking about.
  19. Do the settings seem to shift in the LL viewer or just on FS/Singularity?
  20. Ignore them and move on. Simple as that. Plenty of wonder communities and people to be found. Ignore the jerks and enjoy your SL.
  21. As I understand it. Items you have in magic boxes will simply unlist. They won't delete from the boxes, nor will they return to inventory from them. So you should not lose anything. You could move them from your magic boxes, back into inventory and transfer to your alt, and since the items will already have been unlisted there should be no duplicates. If you are crashing due to inventory size I do suggest contacting support. They are supposed to have a script that will auto folder the items in your inventory to help prevent lock up and crashing.
  22. Simple because SL is a visual place, and bondage gear has a very, very strong visual element. Be it leashes or latex it is a big draw. Plus the ability to control others via RLV or have scioted RLV control you is a compelling way to play.
  23. For me shopping is a chance to get out. MP is a great reference, and I do buy something direct, but much prefer to visit an inworld store. Especially a well designed and decorated one.
  24. I prefer the right clothes for whatever o am doing. I really never use true system clothing anymore, but I do use a lot of applier clothing on my bodies. I would say I use about 90% mesh though.
  25. What do other people see? Ping me in world I can come look.
