You are assuming the best possible use for these avatars. Unfortunately, I don't believe that they are being sold as a reminder of evil, they are being sold to shock and to be some sort of sick humor, and that is giving more benefit of the doubt that what they are probably being used for. I understand the issue with an outright ban. Truly I do. I would very much want the seller to just take them down after a concern is expressed. These avatars are being sold on a public marketplace, not marked as adult or even mature. They are general. So there is no concern at all over it causing any offense whatsoever.

There is an enormous difference between a sim and something that is for sale on marketplace. a sim has a rating, and so should the marketplace. In this case these are marked as general audience. If a nude beach was in general there would be an issue, true? I understand the idea that banning a subject from sale is stepping over a line. However, as I have noted, this is the type of item that should one not be available for general consumption, where someone who was not even looking for this for a roleplay or some other use will not just buy it thinking it is funny, let me wear this to the club.If its for roleplay or some historical purposes, let it for be sale on that sim, not on a general marketplace. As for your argument that this is only offensive to me, someone else it is not, so is child porn. Would that be an acceptable argument from the pedophile, that its not offensive to them? Please. Personally, I dont want this banned, i want the seller to understand the issue and restrict it willingly. If they wont, I still fell there should be a restriction.

I recently discovered that several vendors on marketplace are selling Adolf Hitler avatars. Thsi si highly offensive. These maight be claimed to be for roleplay in historical sims, but there is surely no limited area where these can be used once purchased. Several are highly discount, to almost encourage their distribution.
