Thanks for the replies. It does indeed look like that Jira and I will post there thanks. The issue occurs on an script for me. If I rez a cube, create a new default script, then add even a space to it, I will get the error on save. Thanks again for the replies.

I am getting the following error when I try to save any change to a script. This only happens on a single sim though. A search around the web led me to believe that a region restart would fix the issue. I sent in a support ticket, the region was restarted, but the issue persists. Scripted objects do work in the region, it is just the creation/editing of scripts which seems to fail. The error is: nice: plugins/lsl_compiler/lslc: Permission denied. Any thoughts? Suggestions? I will try my best to describe this issue. It happens in botht he latest release SL viewer as well as Dolphin (which i beleive is the same code base). I think it has been happening for about 1 - 2 weeks (approx). What happens is after a few hours of use, my inventory becomes unusable. I cannot rez items. The invetory window reports that it is fetching items, even though it has counted up to my inventory count. If I hover my mouse over the inventory window it flashes like it was loading. Sometimes, If I wear the item I can then detach it and it will rez. If I clear my cache everything will work fine for a while, until it happens again. My cache is set to the defualt size and my inventory is about 23000 items. Thoughts? Suggestions? The Official Viewer will use a Local Textures option. I think it is in the beta viewer, I know that the feature is implmented in Dolphin 3. I tried it in Dolphin last night and it worked fine.

/me face palms, stops freaking out, clears his cache and forgets that he posted this to the forums!!! :matte-motes-sunglasses-2: Ok I am having a problem after a relog this morning that I cannot figure out. I am using v3 and my eyes have moved forward. I am not wearing prim or mesh eyes. I have not adjusted my shape at all, and changing shapes has no effect. I ran a character test and see the same result. Its like the eyes of my base avatar have moved. So, question is, how can I move them back? Thoughts? The first image is of my own shape. The second is what it looks like with the male char test avi. You can see in both cases that the eyes extend outside of my skin. Hope someone can help.

I had been using Exodus Viewer and I think that is still an excellent viewer. However, they have not had updates recently due to some real life distractions and I have switched to Dolphin. I am enjoying using Dolphin as it functions almost exactly like the default LL viewer, but adds some features I really like such as Area Search and Client side AO. One of the the things I actually like most about the LL viewer is the login screen, being able to look at the events or destination guide and swap out locations. It's not much, but I love the look and functionality. Dolphin is updated regularly and the developer is quite responsive. It's worth a look.

I love mesh avatars, but i find it very difficult to dress them as a guy. I have almost no all prim clothing so finding things like pants is a problem for me. I am anxiously awaiting the male petites. I really like those avatars, and hope that at least some male oriented ecosystem prouts up around them. sean

I am getting a new Chrome OS notebook to try out and I have been looking for a web based, IM only client that I could use on that computer. I cannot install Libretto or any of the other software download based tools. It looks like there was a web client available sometime back, but it appears it is no longer accessible. Anyone have any suggestions? So it looks like the answer is No then. There is not a web based, IM only client available for Second Life.
