If gambling's your only interest you need to go somewhere else. There's still no gambling in SL. No camping now. This is a good thing, although it was useful to leave my av logged in overnight earning L$50 or so every night. No Wednesday shutdown, followed by Thursday bugs, followed by Friday "emergency maintenance" We got an extra clothing layer and now you can wear more than one item on each layer, and more than one item on each attachment point. Oh and body physics (jiggly boobs). Third party viewers. No more grey goo griefer attacks that could bring down the entire grid Windlight, shadows and depth-of-field make pretty graphics (if your computer can handle it) Sculpties, and now mesh. Anyone can make megaprims now. Teens from age 16 can join Mainland is nearly worthless theres probably more that I can;t think of this late in the evening after too much wine.

I hardly ever even change my clothes, never mind skin and hair. My hair is sometimes short (but not often these days). I did get a new skin about six months ago that was quite different from my last one, but I love it, and it's the "me" I was always trying to achieve but didn't before.

You can still see windlight clouds on Medium graphics settings, if you go into customize and turn atmospheric shaders on.

I tried again in a different place after a router & PC reboot, and it worked.

I did the refresh, and it attempts to upload the pic for a while but then it always throws up an error message "Failed to Upload".

I tried asking this question in "Answers" but got nowhere and it doesn't allow you to reply to the thread to give further info, so I'm going to try here. I have installed the beta 3.2.2...whatever viewer, because I want to be able to upload snapshots to my profile feed. However no matter what settings I choose, the upload always fails. Am I missing a setting in preferences somewhere? Do I have to enable this feature somehow before I can use it, or is it just broken? Bonus question - how do I upload a pic from my hard disk to my feed? ETA: it's not a profile pic I'm trying to upload here. It's profile feed. ie I'm using this: to put a pic here:

You said that it works fine on other computers and not on one particular computer. Question - is the not-working computer on wireless? I have problems like this on my laptop on wireless, textures stay blurry or grey. If I cable up to the router it works much better.

There are two ways. method 1 - If you have an IM window (which it seems you do) go there and hover over his name, you will get a little green "i" button. Click that A window pops up with some buttons, one of which is a gear icon. Click that. Dropdown menu has Block in the list. method 2 - In the People tab go to Nearby People. There is another gear icon in the bottom left. Click that and then click "show blocked objects/residents" It will show you your block list, and there is a button at the bottom to add another person or object. Click that and type his name in the search box. both these methods work for any V3/V2 viewer, as far as I can tell

If you're a premium account holder, then you choose to remove the payment details on file, it will show you as NPIOF but you're still premium until your term runs out. The status of your account (basic or premium) doesn't show on the profile. So they can still be premium users.

My gender and ethnicity is the same in SL as in RL. I don't have any desire to be anything different. I think it would be too much like roleplaying if I tried.

In the last couple of weeks I have got completely hooked(!) on 7 Seas fishing. But of course I would love fishing. I'm half cat.

Three since 2006. One desktop, then a laptop (never again!) and now back to a desktop again. Not a particularly high-spec one though. It gets by.

I've read a lot about people with newer nVidea-based graphics cards having issues with the newer drivers. can you switch to an older driver? I'm sure someone here will know what the best driver is.

Yes thats happened to me too in the past. I don't use voice anymore because of bandwidth issues but at one point I was living with another SL user and only one of us could use voice at a time.

I really like the UI of viewer 3 but the framerate is less than half what I get with any other viewer, so I won't be using it.

On my first day I landed at Braunworth infohub. I don't remember much of what I did though. It was a long time ago.
