  1. LOL, Alwin. You replied to this version of the post and I replied to the other one! I sent the OP to the Wanted section of the forum and advised them that a custom skin would be extremely expensive. So both answers are here, too.
  2. This is the sort of post that should go in the 'Wanted' section of the forum, not here. Also, be aware that the price will indeed be negotiable... and very high. No skin designer is going to spend weeks of their time on creating a custom skin and not charge a great deal for it.
  3. Have you checked the creator's store to see if they now sell tattoo appliers? If they're still inworld and still have a store (and they create appliers now), it might be worth contacting them to ask if they'd be willing to make an applier of the tattoo that you bought from them a while ago. If not, then - without the full image of the original design, which belongs both in physical and intellectual property format to the original designer - you will not be able to turn your system tattoo into an applier for your mesh body. Lastly, as Syo has already mentioned, creating a new post that's titled something like "Help with creating a tattoo applier for my mesh body" and listing your questions (mentioning the body that you wear) in the post will get you far more help that's specific to your question than dragging up some old post about creating a new mesh-style avatar.
  4. I've just discovered that tea makes an excellent nasal lavage. Bloody hell, Maddy; my neighbours probably think I've been murdered, judging from the howl of laughter followed by the choking noises!
  5. From a quick Marketplace search for "flying bunny" I found out that it's a gacha item called "Moon Bunny" by +Half-Deer+ This Marketplace search brings up a whole slew of them being offered for resale.
  6. There's very little in life that either duct tape or WD-40 won't fix
  7. It's good advice where Maddy's images are concerned to poke one's tongue in one's cheek and understand that they're very skilful photomanipulations, created for fun. Click here for the original image, which was of a group of people in Milwaukee protesting for pedestrian safety.
  8. The phrasing of this isn't very clear, but you appear to either be saying you want to know who is to blame for returning these items, or that you feel whoever did it is blaming you for rezzing them in the first place (because they have returned them). With that ambiguity in mind - as well as your question about the '???' - I'm going to ask you: where were these items originally rezzed out inworld? On your own parcel? On someone else's? In a sandbox? If you don't know (and especially if they've come back to you as a coalesced object) then go to a sandbox and re-rez them. Just from looking at them (and their placement in relation to each other in the case of a coalesced object) you should be able to tell where they were originally rezzed. After that, it's a case of going to that place and either checking the land settings, or contacting the parcel owner to find out if they were changing parcel rezzing permissions in any way at the time of the return. If the parcel is group-owned then it may be that anyone in the group (either an officer or another member with sufficient permissions) was behind the return.
  9. More inventory digging. This time I found an old favourite pair of sculpted sunglasses purchased back in 2009 that still look fantastic today: Credits Hair: [Bad Hair Day] - Noor* (browns main HUD, gingers tint HUD) Shirt: F.A.T - Ben Shirt (denim black) Necklace: KOSH - Tricos necklace (fall) Sunglasses: BUKKA - Sunglasses Surf (no longer available) Eyes: Avi-Glam - Vivid Eyes* (natural) Skin: Swallow - Martin (ivory) Facial hair: CDC Creations - Beard 46 Tintable V2 Catwa Brows: Odeco - Catwa/Omega Mens Eyebrow Shaved Head: Catwa - Daniel *review copy
  10. Dug out some of my favourite old sculpted sunglasses from BUKKA today:
  11. Personally, I'm now bloody starving. I do love a nice bit of sossidge
  12. I wish I could help, but hoodies are not something I'm remotely interested in (I probably own three or four at most, and hardly ever wear them) so I never pay attention to them. I've checked a few stores that might have had what the OP was looking for, but it's a very specific thing and it's a combination that's probably vanishingly-rare. Long-sleeved hoodies with a raised hood are unusual enough to find (Razor have some great ones) purely because it's hard to get hair to fit under them unless it's custom-created to work with a hood, such as the one that Dura put out in conjunction with... another store whose name I don't remember at TMD a couple of years back. Sleeveless hoodies likewise exist in a fairly low number, but when you combine the two types - sleeveless and with the hood up - your choices turn into needles in the proverbial haystack. What I can do is mention to the OP to pick up the free What Is She Wearing? HUD, and always keep it on. Next time you see someone wearing something you like the look of, click the HUD, choose their name from the menu, and the HUD will spit out a list (which only you can see) of everything they have on. I know it's no help now, but it may be useful in the future. Otherwise, all I can suggest is to visit each of the monthly menswear events (The Mens Dept, Men Only Monthly, Man Cave, and Hipster Mens Event - the details of which, alongside full galleries of each months' collections can be found on the Seraphim blog - and hope for the best.
  13. Oh trust me, I have lots of tips for Paris It's been a while since I last visited, but Ghosty's chosen well if that's where he wants to go. My look of the day features new hair and new eyes. I've just been accepted into two blogger groups, and I'm loving the HUDs and colouring options for this hair. Definitely recommend demoing it. Unisex options available! Full credits here, because holy crap, I actually dragged my butt onto the blog and wrote stuff!
  14. This looks incredible! I'll definitely be paying a few visits
  15. Fantastic pic, Elora! If you can get to Paris IRL, do so. It's my favourite city in the world. I've been there several times, and I just adore it. Thank you so much!
  16. Exactly! Inventory-rummaging is like Christmas morning for me. I have so much stuff and I've forgotten about half of it, so when I find it, it's an "Ooooh!" moment that often sparks off a complete new look *waves his eyeliner pencil under ya nose* Give or take 15 minutes, yeah. I based this one around that outfit. Had no idea initially in what direction I wanted to take it, but as it began to take shape that dark fae was all but screaming to be let out. Thanks so much, Donovan It's great to know I've been of some help. That's a great look you've got going there (and yeah, beware Stealthic; they're wallet-emptiers!) As to how much L$ I've sunk into this over the years, uh... I try not to think too much about that!
  17. I would suggest saving the file as TGA 24-bit. From the Catwa developer's kit instructions: Given that the beard is, technically, a makeup layer I'd try the TGA method.
  18. Enter the freaks. The result of about three hours of digging deep into old inventory folders, flinging stuff around, and layering like crazy. Some of these items are no longer available, but I was in the mood to create something a little dark. If you go down to the woods today, be sure you don't meet with this wicked fae... 19. Holy mother of... It's times like this when I could cry that most designers don't include unisex sizes in their footwear. I'm willing to bet those are only rigged to female mesh bodies, right?
  20. @ashlynkilane Out of curiosity I just checked your inworld profile. I strongly suggest that you edit it immediately. Disclosing someone's RL name and location in the way that you have done in your profile puts you in breach of Linden Lab's Terms of Service and the Second Life Community Standards and could lead to termination of your account. Not only that, but doxxing a woman because she SL-cheated on you after you'd spent a few thousand L$ on her is a d*ck move.

  22. Thanks, Donovan That's a pretty impressive start! Mesh heads can be frustrating to begin with, but the more you work with them, the easier they get. And yeah, your wallet's gonna start hurting now... I'll hold him back, I promise
