  1. Vodoo Security is identical to Redzone. There is no difference! Help me bring this to LL's attention. Redzone was banned long ago. How is Voodoo security still able to operate? If you use Voodoo security you are banning people who happened to get banned from Voodoo. This includes legitimate players and potential customers/traffic that you will lose out on. They are not always griefers. It is surprisingly easy to be perma banned by voodoo. They accuse legitimate players of cheating and if you make a complaint to them they retaliate with a permanent ban. This will include any avatar who shared an IP with you in the past. If you have friends who have played at your address they will be banned as well. They DO log IP addresses. They have years and years worth of IP logs and will ban any avatar who shares an IP with a banned user, which is unfair because IPs change all the time and are shared often. They will perma ban for any reason and they are allowed to do this. Protest voodoo security if you believe in a fair SL! You are better off banning people from your parcels personally instead of using their system. I have lost access to many sims which I gave regular traffic to and spent money at. Every avatar I had, even friends, and one family member who had played at my address in the past are perma banned. I never broke the rules and only played with one avatar at a time but since I made one complaint I was perma banned. If you believe in reason, you shouldn't support an unprofessional business who make decisions based on pettiness! What's funny is, their own sim doesn't even use the security system. Isn't that saying something in itself? Avoid voodoo altogether if you don't want to be me and lose a lot of money in valuable avatars who are now useless.
  2. A Seller is a fraud and her marketplace is a scam. She is selling boxes with no items and taking thousands of lindens from second life residents. =/ she I bought: CURELESS[+] Sororis Obscura / COMPLETE FULL SET 14 + 2 RARES which is the new set from Salem . I understand it is a gacha set and I am taking my chances as I have been buying gacha items from marketplace for years and have never had a problem, however when I got the box it was the smallest of a prim you can make and transparent and there was nothing in it. I want to report her to make sure these doesn't happen to other people, but im not sure how? The listing is gone cause I bought the item, Is there a way to report the marketplace store as a whole?
  3. As I jet takeoff from a airport, put up landing gear, and set direction by compass; I see a possible complete flight plan flying at 30% speed. Then the trouble starts, I lose altitude until the plane in water some flights. The plane "disappears" in mid-flights. Does this happen even with excess scripts off, complexity down and and flying at 30% low speed? or is my address off with the grids sim to cause these crashes? Is the "lag" placed on sims to cause crashes?--- The all of sudden crashes look suspicious to say someone is "behind" them and cause them. Some flights I complete while others land up in water or "disappear".
  4. Today I was defrauded of 80 USD by a 10 year old avatar posing an agent for a reputable company. The holiday is a perfect time as the Linden Lab offices are closed. Buyer Beware!
  5. I bought an armor outfit full perm on the marketplace for 2800 L$. <REDACTED> after i bought it, i got a note card in the box, "box creator and market store do not match.box creator says <REDACTED> and is using it for his own means.i flagged the item on market, so the store owner relisted it. how do i report the scam and hopefully retrieve my lindens ?
  6. With increased frequency amongst store owners I know on the marketplace, as recently as the past week but extending further, purchases have been made of no copy items and gifted to others. The ORIGINAL purchaser was then found to have committed credit fraud and the funds removed from the Marketplace store owner's account - the no copy item, which was purchased by the marketplace store owner with valid funds, not returned. In the "real world" when we enter an agreement with a credit card company and make a purchase they guard us from credit fraud. If someone gets a hold of our credit info and purchases a jungle gym from Amazon, they don't go after Amazon - Amazon took that transaction in good faith and the onus is on the credit card company. Unfortunately, LL does not protect the seller. If a buyer with fraudulent funds makes 40k in purchases and gifts them to someone, it is not LL who processed the transaction that is out 120$, it's the seller - the stock is gone and not replaced and Linden Labs makes you go through an endless chain if "Sorry Charlie" support cases quoting TOS. As sellers we enter an agreement, LL acts as a intermediary and gets a cut of your product - not just a stipend or a fixed amount - a PERCENTAGE. The more you make, the more they make. I've discussed this with others who sell no copy items and this is a pattern with no end in sight, I propose that on a per listing basis we be allowed to turn off "gifting" on no copy, transferable items - it's becoming increasingly sad what people will do to steal 1000Ls that in the real world costs less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, but if you keep piling it on - that grift becomes thousands of real world dollars that we, as merchants, are getting pick pocketed and the authority we have to report to are telling us "oh well, you didn't need to carry a wallet/purse, have a mint."
  7. Hi All. Lately I reported a specific person, who owns few lands flooded with ATMs offering a payment for doing surveys. I registered on his site, which looked pretty decent, finished some offers and raised my balance. However, while the site informed that the payment was automated, I, of course, was never really payed. Later, I found out that, though they have a technical support, it doesn't react, and when I IMed him inworld while he was online, he just ignored me. This is not really what I was expecting, because an offer was just too good to be true, but I feel really nuts that this resident continues to fool people and unpunishedly does it using Second Life. However, I would like to figure out if his actions somehow offend the main SL policy and, thus, is there any possibility to call him to account.
