Not you @BilliJo Aldrin but I think a lot of people seem to think that private land owners have to follow the same thought process as the Lindens. People are gonna ban you for being short on private or privately owned open to the public land if they want and it's their bought and paid for right. Even though it's not exactly on this topic I was watching the video of that meeting and some guy was going off that he was kicked from somewhere because he had child avatar in his profile but had shown up as a stick man. Yeah and? Next please! The same thing does apply here... you might have more pushback from the community over being short but more than likely it will be same as it ever was. I think for years now there has been a downscaling in size going on and "short" is more acceptable. I do think a lot of people base their short perception on the most popular mesh bodies shrunk all the way down. That's what I've done on all of my bodies... Belleza Freya, Legacy, Belleza Gen X, and now Reborn. I think Maitreya has a similar base height too.. I have it on another avatar but havent worn it in years. I do add a little height with pulling and pushing some body parts .. and heels or perma barbie feet but that's all. I made my maitreya as short as possible while still keeping proper proportions. I have zero problem with being banned from any venue, in fact i dont give them the chance. As soon as i get a message from either a person, or some avatar scanner, saying my look is unacceptable for whatever reason, I leave. I never argue, unless i’m in the mood to argue, but i’m not trying to change their minds. And since the skin they would be wearing would be made for adults and thus revealing, it would defeat the whole purpose of what the new TOS is trying to accomplish, which is making it more difficult for people to engage in AP. If you look on the Marketplace for clothing that is made for petite addons, you will see images of avatars that appear to be underage wearing the most revealing clothing (some are even listed under childrens apparel). Which is why I believe that this scenario would only serve to exacerbate the very issue that LL is trying to solve with the new TOS.
