So, Genus has created a new group to replace the old one. It's free to join, so in theory that's fine.

But somehow, someone mucked up the old group so it is impossible to leave it.

Apparently LL is "working on it," but in the meantime I have constant chatter now from TWO Genus groups crossing my screen.

Yuuuup. I found out the other day when trying to leave to add the Erika group for the free body.

Annnd, saw it's still broken as I tried to leave today to join a paid group for gifts.

Free us, Genuuuus.

I just un-tick the older group boxes for IM's and Group notices..  I always have group notices off, because if not  I'd get spammed all day long anyways.. I hate that they let  people advertise in the support groups..

A lot of times  they just spam all their groups and  don't even have something for that group product..

I hate adds of any kind when they are out of hand.. Same with the Erika group.. Had to turn those off.. I can't find a group notice from the actual group anyways because of the flood of  stuff  each day in there..

I just un-tick all three boxes most of the time..

Not a exactly a peeve: It is a little appreciated bonus of using a Linden Home that you can't accidentally delete your house.

Peeve: That I've never actually derezzed a neighbor's house just for fun, so I could see the people inside. I derezzed a giant moon-shaped skybox before, but that was because I didn't want to see it in my sky view.

Isn't this whole disagreement why RLV exists? If a person wants to be forced to do something by just anyone, they can set their RLV settings to allow this. If they want to be forced by only a select few people, they can set it to only allow the people on their list. If they want to decide on a case by case basis, they can do that. 

This could be an interesting discussion in the Adult forum. I was just thinking, what if there's one or 2 people who one really does not want to interact with?

Sorry, I was just passing by and decided to read the news... Peeve: That I got up with the intention of listening to a favourite radio show, but found my mind and fingers wandered around the interntet and it's midday already so the programme is over.

Peeve: In musical theatre, police depositions, psychoanalysis, and providing RP backstory (as with "flashback scenes" in dramas)..it can be helpful to "start at the very beginning".
