  1. Heavy-handed moderation killed them. ETA: Am I allowed to say that, even? What say you, mods?
  2. You're welcome. You can look at going prices here and post an ad of your own ---> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Regions-for-Sale-Full-Private/bd-p/RegionsforSaleFullRegions You can also look here and see if someone wants to buy your region (hopefully, at your asking price :smileywink:) ---> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Wanted-Full-Private-Island/bd-p/WantedFullRegions There are also a number of inworld groups that will let you advertise. Good luck and just remember that USD$100 (or L$28,000 for L$ transfers) will be deducted from the seller's (your) account (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Managing-Private-Regions/ta-p/700115#Section_.3) upon completion of the sale (so if you just want to dump it on someone else so they can give LL USD$295/mo, have them at least cover the transfer fee, unless you want to be really generous :smileyvery-happy:).
  3. You should try to sell it first, IMO... Transferring or canceling an estate It is possible to transfer an estate by transferring all Private Regions in the estate to another Resident. For details on transferring Private Regions, see the Managing Private Regions. If you would like to terminate ownership of an estate without transferring it, please submit a support case of the type Land & Region > Region Cancellation Request, with all the relevant fields completed. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Private-Regions/ta-p/700133#Section_.4.1
  4. Hi, Class. I've heard no such thing. There is a policy in place requiring "Skilled Game" operators to do so only on "Skill Gaming Regions" but no such policy for clubs. Someone is pulling your leg.
  5. But... but... we have the sworn testimony of three people! And if her "sis" (her "cousin in RL") comes to testify... Well, that'd be a clincher! Calling Harlei...

Perhaps she should seek out legal assistance and have them taken down? Or do she and her RL husband not care that people seem to be profiting off of her likeness?
  7. Translation: Some woman that you think looks like a dog defecated on you. Poor you.

  9. Some people think there's an "A List". They usually have their lips firmly pressed against the buttocks of the "A Listers".

I'm a little tired of folks using that argument/analogy for anything they dislike. It's, well, disheartening to read people use such analogies when they're not even remotely applicable. It also tends to cause your argument to lose weight, quickly. It's not an argument used by reasonable people, and might even come off as offensive to some. What she said.
  11. You might want to consider putting a notice in your profile distancing yourself from the group and its current owner(s) and their actions. (And if I were you, I would seriously consider leaving the group altogether.)
  12. Bobbie Faulds wrote: Yes, you can use Visa gift cards... Issues with prepaid and gift cards A common cause of payment method failure is the use of unsupported card types. At this time, the majority of prepaid cards are not compatible with our system, even if they bear the VISA/AMEX/Mastercard logo. This includes cards purchased at retail stores, rechargeable credit cards, and bank-issued check cards.
  13. Certainly the forum has seen more than its fair share of people that are "unencumbered by the thought process"...

  17. Looks to me like the whole site is currently protected. Someone probably broke it during the last maintenance.

LL does not owe us anything, just like when they closed casinos, letting people lose hundreds of real cash overnight. I dont trust LL one atom to keep this version going for more than another year.
