  1. I see a nasty custody battle in your future.
  2. Downgrading from premium to a basic membership To downgrade your premium or Concierge account to basic, follow these steps: Log into the Second Life website. On the lef side of the screen, select Premium Membership. The Change Membership Plan screen opens, displaying a chart of Membership plans and prices. Select Basic Account. Click Save Changes. Your new plan becomes effective at your next billing date. Warning: If you downgrade to a basic account, you will lose all the land you own, and you will no longer have access to your weekly Linden dollar stipend or live chat support. Make sure to sell all your land before you downgrade! You may also wish to check your group land contributions and make arrangements to keep your group's land holdings in good standing http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Premium-membership/ta-p/1054477#Section_.7.1
  3. It's the same whether you're connected to SL or not.
  4. Just for my own education... Is that how Marketplace handles animated GIFs (I confess I don't recall ever seeing one)? Adds a link (Watch it in action)? P.S. Glad you found a solution. :smileywink:
  5. In answer to your edit (I): Zexanima wrote: UPDATE: The file is indeed a gif upon uploading it. Well, apparently it isn't. How it is suppose to look. That file is in excess of 1MB...
  6. Oh, you're over here now. :smileyvery-happy: Jerilynn Lemon wrote: Last I was aware, I believed that SL REQUIRED a bot to be so identified. Only to LL... What is the point of sending a bot to wander SL? There used to be a bot that would go to whatever sim you told it to go to from a particular website and it would take a 360-degree picture and post it. Others collect all sorts of information. Then there are land bots, but they're now outlawed on mainland. So there's more than one reason.
  7. When they hit menopause. I don't know if this is accurate, but Google is your friend: "Age - A meeroo must be older than 10 days and younger than 111 days. This means each Meeroo can have 10 breeding Seasons until they are no longer fertile."

  9. It's most likely inside your avatar. Try one of these methods (I prefer the second): Locating attachments Reset attachment slot Your avatar has multiple attachment slots. If you can find the worn attachment in your inventory, you can reset its slot. Doing so resets it to the default position, which means you will need to reposition it again. To reset an attachment slot: Right-click your avatar and select Edit my outfit. The APPEARANCE window opens. Click on Attachments to see all attachments. Find the one you're looking for and also remember its attachment slot, which appears in parentheses. Detach the object. Click the Inventory button on the toolbar, and search for the attachment by name or keyword. Right-click the attachment, choose Attach To, and select a different attachment point. Preferably a free one so it doesn't detach something else. Right-click the attachment again and choose Detach From Yourself. Right-click the attachment yet again, choose Attach To, and attach it back to the original attachment point. It should be visible, but positioned incorrectly. Near your avatar, right-click the attachment and choose Edit. Reposition the attachment as desired. Camera through your avatar Hold Ctrl+Alt while left-clicking to orbit your camera so it cuts into your avatar. When you're looking through your avatar, right-click the attachment and choose Edit. Carefully drag it out with the positioning arrows. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Finding-lost-objects-and-attachments/ta-p/1316943#Section_.2
  10. 1. If you bought the item at an inworld store, there isn't much that LL can/will do about it (and no "administrators" read this forum). Look for a redelivery terminal in the store or wait for a reply from the merchant. 2. Bad idea to put your email address and extremely bad idea to put your phone number in your post. Click Options / Edit on your post and remove your contact info. ETA: You bought this item today ("5-03-2014 time 19:42")??? i don't think most merchants are in the habit of waiting on pins and needles for IMs and/or notecards regarding failed deliveries. It will most likely be taken care of when the merchant logs in. Patience! ETA II: If I were you, I'd wait for the merchant to get back to you. "Many times" is quite enough.
  11. Guess you've never used eBay. ETA: Answers is more for technical questions than discussions such as this one. Next time, try posting in the appropriate sub-forum over here ---> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Forums/ct-p/Forums
  12. vjm3 wrote: I would upload an image of my current problem, but it appears that's not supported here. Sure it is. Save the snapshot to your hard drive. Click the picture of the tree in the toolbar above your post: That will bring up this window: Browse to the location you saved the snapshot to, select it, double-click or select Open, and click Insert Image. ObviousAlt covered the rest. :smileytongue:
  13. Set any group tier donations to zero. Update your tier ("tier down") on this page: https://secondlife.com/my/account/landfees.php
  14. You should get a weekly stipend for as long as you have a premium account. Check your Transaction History.

  16. Alejandro Harrop wrote: I went back to second life this week and was shocked at the excess skybox, nonstandard constructions spoiling beautiful places. There is no control over buildings and skybox? There are no zoning boards, land use commissions, or registers of historic places (the real loss, imo), no. If you want control over what your eyes are forced to see, rent or buy a sim and don't venture from it.
  17. iceing Braveheart wrote: leave it to second life to defraud... what does linden labs do for windows xp or any operating system? nothing besides troll harass with blockers... Now LL is defrauding, trolling and harassing you? And you say you're not a wingnut?
  18. It means that they've elected to allow you to see where they are on the map. If you mouse over, you can see their location and if you click you can teleport to them. Tip: It is possible to teleport directly to your friend's location by pressing the Teleport button. However, it is good etiquette to respect your friends' privacy by IMing first. Teleporting to another Resident's location unannounced is considered very impolite! ETA: Oh, wait. This is on my.secondlife.com? That's just a link to their profile. The above is in reference to links on the Dashboard.
  19. Have you never heard of a "false positive"? Did you get it from the link I posted or from elsewhere? I never got an alert when I was using Norton's (up until this year) and BitDefender does not detect an issue now (installed Instant Eyedropper fresh today to test it), nor does Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
  20. Chic Aeon wrote: I am not sure where you got that chart... Google Trends - https://www.google.com/trends/explore#q=Second%20Life&cmpt=q @OP: I would not say that the number of Google searches is necessarily an accurate measurement of "interest" (even though a bazillion marketing "professionals" and webmasters will disagree).
