Make your selection, UNselect the prim you want to make root, and then REselect it. Message was edited to add: Shift + Click to select/unselect.

This may or may not fix your problem.. In Preferences.. Phoenix tab, Page 1.. Shields.. Spam Protection.. Dialog and Calling cards are enabled by default. Chat and IMs, Notices, Offers etc are not. I have a feeling that they're all enabled on your machine right now?

You're quite welcome. I'm glad I was able to find it. Was starting to question my own sanity.

After going through my browser history, I found it was hippoGROUPS, not Subscribe-O-Matic, that allows you to manage your subbed groups. Sounds like group management was in the works..

Sounds like a Subscribe-O-Matic thing? Go to her shop/club/whatever and click the Subscribe-O-Matic kiosk? I thought I saw a URL here in the Forums recently to review/manage all of the groups that you're subscribed to through this system, but I can't seem to find it, and I can't see anything like that on the Subscribe-O-Matic site.

I'm thinking you need to unpack them from boxes? Rez on the ground (drag from your inventory), right-click, and click Open and then Copy to Inventory.

Go to Account > Account Summary. It will show, on the right: Your current plan: Basic Membership Upgrade to Premium today!

One thing I did that showed my chat was to log into Phoenix Viewer and click show muted text in the local chat. Maybe you muted yourself?

The link (https://land.secondlife.com/en-US/lindenhomes/land-selection.php) works for me. I did have to try a couple times, but it did finally load (in Firefox, fyi).

It does in fact show up in green text, AND, one can hear it over four different regions, which doesn't help with trying to find the object (nor does the no-rezzing, or the ban lines all over place). Reported to LL by Mr. Jules.

Sounds like a scripted object of some sort. Find the object and return or mute IT. Message was edited to ask:Does the text show up in green?

You should be able to just create a prim, drop the script in the Content tab and then apply an invisible texture..
