To me it is not about if it should be done, I'm perfectly fine with how the inventory works at the moment, but more if it still could be done.

Maybe it could be done with special folders. Like everything in the folder Clothing (and in all its sub folders) is treated like clothing. Everything in the folder Hair is treated like hair. Etc. Everything in the folder Junk 'n Stuff is further ignored by the system and the user.

I thought money chairs where put up to generate traffic. Who cares if there are alts among them? Or am I missing something?

I agree with Prokofy that LL is concentrating too much on shiny and too little on usability of the platform. I think that the problem is that for most of the usability problems there are no easy fixings. Putting the stars behind the moon sounds a lot easier to fix to me. But I can be wrong, I'm not that technical. Let's wait and see how the retention rates sky rocket, now the moon is fixed.

I'm very happy with my outfit gallery. And yes, sometimes one changes a bit on an outfit, but it is no big deal if the picture doesn't match 100%. I don't care that my tux package now has a red tie instead of the blue one on the picture. As long as I know where that tux avatar is when Christmas is near, I'm fine.

Are there really people longer than a few month in SL, who don't have at least one alt for whatever reason? Must be a gadget from the drama department.

My bet is some forgotten land obligations. But my guess would also be that there was an description why the money is taken on the invoice. I simply don't believe that Tilia takes 9.86 every month without any clarification why they do so.

If you produce for the average size market, you sell a lot more than when you cater for the awesome sized people. That goes in RL as well. Look at cars, furniture hight like with standard kitchen counters, furniture stability, clothing, shoes, etc. etc. You're best of being standard size even in dreamworlds like SL,

As long as you keep the shopping zones for small 1024 m plots and maybe even mix them into the already existing themes, I don't see the problem at all. There ain't that many smaller shops that have constantly visitors on the grid. And seeing how empty Belli is people wise, that would be totally doable IMHO.

There are lots of people in SL who think because of whatever reason (mostly self importance) they are in a FIC environment. Why not adding Bellisseria to it as well. A plot with a little shop (1024 plots) would be an excellent theme for it. Why not? Just like the other themes let it grow and grow until the market is saturated.

What prize is here to win? The whole Internet or only a certain part?

LL is not responsible for updating the TPV's. It's no reason whatsoever IMHO to do nothing because the majority of oldies uses a TPV. If their changes turn out to be a success, the TPV's will follow in the end, And those who have the standard attitude that if it comes from LL it can't be good, will not accept anything that the lab does as good or an improvement. So be it.

I still remember the day when LL decided to no longer use the pie menu in the viewer. It is still a miracle the sky didn't fall that day in SL. Most people hate changes, having to sort things out again. Making major changes in the UI would most likely only result in a few more TPV's to keep the old look and feel.

If someone asks me about Lidl or any other supermarket, I will tell what I think about it. Sure. I ain't gonna bother my family and friends advertising Lidl though. Same goes for SL. If someone wants my 2 cents about it, sure I will tell about SL. It even will be mostly positive. But nobody ever asks. And just as with the supermarkets, I ain't gonna bother my family and friends with advertising SL either.

The Dutch highlands .... yeah right, especially the Utrechtse heuvelrug, There are moles who push up higher bulbs of dirt than that.

It is LL that offers free accounts. Not me. And from rented land almost every L$ ends up in LL's pockets as well. The landlord earns a few by doing a lot of footwork for LL in the customer service and care department. And besides, if someone doesn't want to live on the IMO still terribly ugly and desolate mainland, there is very little other choice than to rent from private land owners. Or one has to end up in beautiful but totally laggy Bellisseria.

I don't know, I'm pretty much an a-sexual person so that part of SL is not my beer. What I noticed is, that 14 years ago there were sex beds and some very specialized toys for adults. Now a days it is harder to find pg furniture than adult ones. So my bet is that there must have been an increase in the adult activity department over the years. Why not advertise it.
