Hey I needed a 500th post.

I land on the dash board if I need to, I totally never need the homepage. Of course I go straight into SL if I want to be inworld. Or straight to the forums when I want to be here,

I was just curious that's all. I don't mind if people use my land to fly over it or sail by. Doors are always open, and the home bar filled with cold beverages for people passing by.

Why would they come all the way from their planetary system just to scare some people on this globe with some flashing lights and then go home again?

The homepage is the most important one to lure new people into SL. Question is, does it pay of to redesign all the other parts of the website? I have my doubts. I will not quit SL because my dashboard looks outdated on the website, or the forums. I would spend my available money elsewhere in another SL development project if I were at the wheel. A business theme with small shops for Bellisseria for instance, in an attempt to get more small merchants becoming premium members. Or a better welcome experience that makes the first steps in SL easier. Or 64x64 and 128x128 themed private islands for every premium member to rent. SL makes the money not a slick website IMHO.

I wonder if you use your LI allowance up to the last LI on your land. Can airplanes still cross the land? Isn't it so that they count on the parcels LI the moment they enter the sky above it until they leave the parcel again?

Considering how big the so far known universe already is, it is almost impossible that we on earth are the only living creatures. But the distances between stars and galaxies are so huge. Chances are very slim we will ever meet extraterrestrial life. UFO's are a known phenomenon , but that is something else than proof of aliens around us IMHO. UFO's are what the name says: Unidentified Flying Objects. Linking it to aliens..... nah. Wishful thinking at best.

If there even was a paper thin snippet of real evidence, all the news media all over the world would be running extra editions and bulletins 24/7 for weeks/months. Making the pandemic coverage look like kids stuff. So I don't hold my breath. And now you all have to excuse me, Mork is calling about what to buy Alf for his birthday this year, (I start to hate that vaccination chip).

IMHO he exactly knows he is presenting crap in his shows, but as long as the payment is okay, why not? I would do it too.

Yup the year after ABBA. And half of all songs normally felt somewhat similar as last years winners, at least in the years that I watched. I have the whole song contest on ignore the last decade or so. More a personality show\freak show these days. To much smoke and mirrors, to little good music.

I survived the toilet paper apocalypse 2020.

I don't understand a word of what they sing, but still a very convincing performance.

Specially for all who keep dabbling pseudo religious nonsense about the covid-19 pandemic.

I haven't been on the homepage since more than a decade (other than if someone points out a new design). My dashboard is my landing page on the SL website. And at home, I never log out.

See it as another opportunity to vent that you don't like it. As if we didn't read that in the other thread already.

You have to wait until someone with a strong Indian accent, calling from the windows on your computer or from the microsoft. They will give you instructions on how they can plant this tiny software app on your computer. Free of charge. Such nice people.

On the other hand, I had 2 personal mind to mind conversations with Bill Gates so far since my last vaccination. So I would not enable streaming that fast.
