  1. I think it looks lovely and will certainly be paying a visit:) Thanks very much for making this:)
  2. Out exploring today, came across this great hairpin bend.... thought I'd be safer on my bike than with a car (my driving skills in SL are pretty poor lol). http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SSPE356/57/233/40
  3. There's a new Swaginator hunt on across Bellisseria:) - https://secondlife.com/destination/winter-swaginator-hunt I'm not very good at hunts, so finger's crossed I'll be able to complete it...
  4. I found some nice lights and bits and pieces at this Christmas market, all very reasonable prices fairly low LI if anyone is looking for stuff: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dark Spirit/128/186/35
  5. I use these, and they look really nice (better than in the MP image). Only 1 LI and really cheap! They resize well too, I have them on different window sizes. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/KOYUKI-White-Drapes-1prim-Sculpted-prim-drapes/16671794
  6. Lol. It's interesting looking at the 3 developments so far on the map - grid layout for the new theme, traditional don't look much like grid planning by comparison, and campsites look very much more 'organic' in layout. I'm already thinking about what's next!:)
  7. Yes, you can, it has to be a certain height above though - can't remember exactly, 2000m or something I think.
  8. Yes, considering the constant demand for the new homes it would make sense for them to try and get the homes finished ASAP, so if that means a bit of cloning I don't blame them. My guess is that the intention was to develop the regions as they have been doing this year, but people are more eager to get a home than was maybe anticipated, so to satisfy that they've modified their plan. Would be the sensible thing to do I think. I don't think anyone is really going to care that much if a few regions look the same or similar if it means they can get a home soon... I'm wondering if they'll do one massive release of that whole section in the south in one or two days. That would be great for a large number of those without a new home as it'll mean they stand a good chance of getting one instead of having to try 2 or 3 times a week refreshing and hoping. Since it looks like it's virtually finished I can't see why they wouldn't unless there some logistical reason we're not aware of. I'm putting my bets on a January release (preview at Expo in December, then Christmas break, then release after New Year). It might even mean there will be a few spare homes for a bit! Depends of course on how many Premium members there are currently actively waiting for a home (or aware of new homes...there's bound to be some who don't visit the forums or haven't logged in for a while who don't even know about them yet).
  9. If anyone stops by one of the cute cabins that are dotted around, go upstairs and have a look at the bookshelf: I love the titles lol: "Build like a Mole", "Rolling Restarts", "Little Red Ginger Mole" and other bestsellers..:) Not sure if these are in all the cabins, but definately here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SSPE326/18/50/40
  10. Snap:) Was out exploring and took a fly along those tracks too today..this is what I found... Was a nice little surprise:) http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SSPE342/121/85/46
  11. No, Grumpity Linden said in the meeting that all Premium accounts will have name change options, just at different price points (about 24:00 in the video).
  12. current Premium benefits are going to be “even better” for Premium Plus So bascially more of the benefits you currently have. Hmmm - for me that would have to mean more stipend and more land (not much else I'll be bothered about having more of). The thing that would really tempt me would be having increased land with free tier. It would depend on how much more the Premium Plus subscription would be though. The price is steeper now for Premium, so benefits for Plus would need to be such that I could justify the additional cost. If anyone wants to listen to the actual meeting you can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlbF4gDqMAo
  13. Yes, I think that's quite possible. I was wondering if perhaps the cloning thing will not be final, considering the dedication the team seems to have exhibited for making regions unique (but maybe they plan to be more flexible on this just to meet demand - unless they have stated as Chic says that it doesn't actually save time) I've commented earlier about seeing the cloned regions, but we have to remember that what we see on the SSP may and can still change or not be implemented as we thought in the end. I have immense fun watching and speculating about what I see on the map over time (ok, yeah, maybe a weird passtime lol), but I'm not for a minute assuming I'm right about anything here:) I would caution anyone reading posts in this thread not to take what is said about what we find or see as absolute certainty, because we just don't know.
  14. Wow yes, that wasn't all visible there the other day. The work pace has certainly been speeding up! Might be partly due to some duplication of regions in the new continent which you can see on the map (but work has been faster on Belli too). Perhaps they are yet to add a bit more landscaping to make them more individual, or maybe not...I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, I'm sure it will look lovely either way, and if there are favourite locations people want to snag at least they will know there is more than one like that so they have the opportunity to get it if perhaps they couldn't on first go:) If all those regions will be released together (or within a short time frame) when ported over to the live continent, it should satisfy many many Linden home hunters:) And there are some really prime locations around the coastline I think will be really popular. Winter Expo is just round the corner!
  15. Personally I don't care if someone wants to ad a snow ground cover and decorate at their home all Christmasy (all year round if they want). If that's what they like it's of no consequence to me and I don't quite understand why people find it so troubling (seemingly almost offensive sometimes). There are way worse things to look at or deal with from neighbours. It's usually a minority that want to change the ground cover etc. If someone has a beach plot and wants grass that's fine by me too - maybe they can't get a home in grassy area, let them have a little joy with grass:) (umm..no puns or alternative meanings there lol). If it's not directly intruding someway into someone else's home (e..g extremely bright lights, sounds etc, objects) then I think this is a pretty minor thing and not really anyone else's business because to me changing the season in that theme isn't bad, as it's not actually changing the theme per se.
  16. What you can do also is go to one of the areas that has not been released yet (SSPxxx on the map) and have a look around - gives you the opportunity to see them empty and cam around inside. Walking around you will be able to see all the styles as at least one of each will be rezzed on the land (not sure about all the colour choices though inside). Just be mindful if there are any Moles working nearby though as you don't want to get in their way if they are busy rezzing items or building - preferably go to a region that's empty of anyone there. There are both camper and traditional regions being built now, not yet released in the south of the continent you could look at.
  17. Adventure:) You have to be careful where you go though...find places of wonder, fun, beauty, or venture into the dark corners of horror and chaos lol.
  18. Wandering around I came across a style new rez zone marker: From a distance I thought it was a cafe sign lol. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SSPE324/111/217/22
  19. Yes, I know, I've done that myself in the past. I think what the OP might be suggesting is that it comes as part of the Premium perks, i.e you get the land, or you get a linden home - so you wouldn't be buying the land, as you have to do now if you want abandoned land.
  20. I've been watching these areas and my guess is that the shapes with grass circles in are some kind of path/walkway , not traditional roads. I think the homes here will be snapped up quick, there looks to be some really nice spots that I think will be popular - opposite the railway if you like trains, opposite the water etc.
  21. Wow, that's an assumption...never said I wanted it...was merely suggesting things I thought people might like. Just sharing ideas here, don't worry I doubt any Belisseria Dictatorship will come the mainland way...:)
  22. In a video they did say that their goal was to move away from Land as a big income source and more toward content (if I remember correctly), so doing something as suggested in this thread might line up with that.
  23. Interesting idea! They could for example offer a 1024 plot as an alternative to getting a new Premium home on 1024 or the campers 512 with 512 land. I'm sure some people would like the option to just have land to build whatever they want. Not convinced LL would do this though, and then there's the question of is there enough abandoned land to satisfy any demand. I'm sure someone will argue though that if someone just wants land they can get abandoned land anyway:) That's true. But I think having dedicated plots for Premium members as an option might be a nice idea. There are large areas of abandoned land that could be carved up into smaller 1024 plots. Maybe it could come with a content pack (like the trads etc. do) with a choice of little houses or other bits and pieces in.
