  1. I would be pretty happy with a Meadowbrook in a Bellisserian Landscape, even if it was just a little bit smaller to have a tiny garden, because of the spacious feel inside and big windows. I like seeing what people are doing with theirs in this thread:)
  2. My initial thought about the update to the dev SSPX areas which now reveal the pink markings is that the layout seems rather uniform, and what we've seen to date shows the homes not being laid out in a very uniform manner in order to make regions look more individual - therefore I'm wondering if perhaps this could be for commercial areas Patch hinted at in Meet the Lindens. Of course, depending on the theme a more uniform layout might make sense for some homes...curiouser and curiouser....
  3. I've just noticed some more of the blueish gray squares that were originally seen southwest of the continent have appeared top northwest corner, east of the land corresponding to the new pickle homes area (below the green square) and over the area corresponding to what is Pinrane Waves on Bellisseria. They may have been there before but I don't remember seeing them. I wonder what these represent? The beginnings of some water development perhaps (that may be moved to other locations in the end)?
  4. @Daniel Voyager Patch mentions over 38000 in this interview: https://thebellisserian.wixsite.com/editionone @Chic Aeon makes some good points I think. There were some voices in the forum saying they would not renew the premium because of the increased cost. Of course, we know that it is usually a minority that participates in the forum, so whether this will prove to be true for many more members we just don't know. But I think it could be a factor in premium uptake going forward, so I think there probably will need to be more incentives.
  5. Just spotted this on the SL map. Terrain certainly looks a little different. If the next theme has something to do with trains as Patch hinted at Meet the Lindens, then it would make sense to perhaps continue the land below so the railway tracks from the camper regions can continue down into it.
  6. I would quite like this, but somehow I don't see them building these.
  7. Simple solution (if you use Firestorm viewer)...derender it all. Voila...no more unsightly view.
  8. Oh I've been saying the same thing too!:) I really hope some of the future themes have these. It's one of the reasons I haven't wanted to get a traditional house.
  9. Thanks, I did look there and couldn't see it, but I've found it now:)
  10. Could you provide a link to the article please (couldn't work out where this is from - haven't had any coffee yet...) I'm open to incentives!:) I hope there are some and that they're good! I may have to go basic when mine runs out, which I really don't want to do, so I'll be watching eagerly for anything.
  11. Yes the Moles have been adding those campers for some days now (maybe a couple of weeks, I can't remember exactly see earlier posts). They've added a couple of really nice waterfalls with rivers up there, I recommend checking it out, they look great. Seems to me that they're building this area up quite quickly. Patch had said they hoped the process would get faster over time, and I think you can see signs of that already both for houses and campers. WE2019 1, I wonder if that could perhaps be examples the commercial spots Patch suggested they may implement. Listening to the Meet the Lindens interview again recently he mentions them and I did wonder about them as we haven't seen anything in any of the newer house or camper regions. But of course it may change by December. I think WE2019 3 is for the new theme as it looks very much like the green land we've seen on the SSP map recently. Oh the fun of speculating!:)
  12. LOL I love this! - this perfectly illustrates how I feel too:)
  13. I'm wondering what themes would fit with trains as Patch hinted at that (see my post above). Victorian? Cabins? Wild west even? If they do cabins next I imagine it'll look great, based on what they've done already. Not sure if I'd try and snag one though, it would depend. If the windows are small again, with small rooms like the trad homes and it's on 512 plots probably not. I like big windows to view the scenery and 1024 land:) I liked the windows in the meadowbrook homes, and the houseboats feel roomy inside compared to the houses, so I hope there's a style in future that combines that (my wishlist). Space/futuristic could be awesome. It would be nice to have some fantasy type themes, not just 'real world' type ones, even though what they have done on Bellisseria is beautiful. Underwater or even something up in the sky could be great.
  14. I did originally think the latter assumption was correct i.e. traditional home is a 'theme' with 4 styles, the houseboat 'theme' has 4 styles, camper 'theme' has 8(?) styles. But...Patch mentions styles and themes in this interview: https://thebellisserian.wixsite.com/editionone It was the campers that were previewed at SL16B, so he's calling this a Style, suggesting Bellisseria is a Theme (or the homes so far have some other theme name) Maybe it was just a slip of the tongue.. I'm confused lol.
  15. In the Meet the Lindens earlier this year Patch talked about themes and even alluded to the next theme I think: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpyPocpzmK0 about 36:38 Since Patch already mentioned campers, and then mentions a theme after, unless I've completely misunderstood, I think that gives a very small hint. The Meet the Lindens interviews this year are well worth listening to.
  16. Mole humour?...a fork in the road...
  17. Lemonade anyone? I found this really cute spot on a corner over on SSPE270. Would make a really nice spot for a little party or get-together. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SSPE270/157/76/26
  18. Yes I heard/read the same about the Expo so I'm really looking forward to seeing hopefully some teaser about the new theme if not some example builds like they've done before. There's bound to be at least a second continent to house everyone. So much more to explore!:)
  19. Nice find!:) If you click the little white 'sticks' they are called 'Forgotten Nuclear Fuel Rod'. I love all this little touches the Moles add. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/SSPE238/99/84/28 The sculpture is called 'Three Meter Monument'
  20. Thanks Daniel, yeah I noticed the SSP numbers too. So maybe it is connected to a new continent or area for a new theme... I hope so! I guess it could be the start of a new continent which will be re-positioned somewhere else. Sooo looking forward to see what's coming next!:) ...Or, we're wrong and the LL folks have yet another couple of posts to chuckle over and shake their heads..😁 Edit: Looking at the map again I still see the houseboat area where it is in my first pic. If you zoom it it disappears and the green area shows, if you zoom out you see the houseboat area...strange...
  21. Something weird going on with the SSP map. When viewed in a browser the green area covers the previous land mass when you zoom in, but it's not there when you zoom out. Inworld the map shows pieces of the original land amongst some of the new green stuff. Pics: 1st: SSP map as it was before (zoomed out) on second life maps https://maps.secondlife.com/ 2nd: zoomed in on second life maps https://maps.secondlife.com/ 3rd zoomed in on map inworld Is anyone else seeing this? I'd like to think this indicates some new theme being developed somehow on SSP, but in reality I know there could just be some simple explanation lol.
  22. Up by SSPE46 I think, near Shady Corners and Domingos.
  23. I'm wondering about this...the area isn't very big for a new theme...unless it's some underwater theme that will be extended to encompass the whole continent...
  24. More campers in progress up in the north east... and the WIP of a big waterfall and river...should be wonderful when it's all finished...
  25. Send me a PM here and I'll give you some help:)
