Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens... β« I also like SL shops that give really nice free gifts and gift certs. Much appreciated by chronically broke shopaholics like me.. -
Are most of your friends of opposite sex in SL?
Akane Nacht replied to Karina Leborski's topic in Make Friends
About equal. Vast majority I met while roleplaying or making stuff, so we had common interests. -

Do you need to vent about things COVID-19?
Akane Nacht replied to Seicher Rae's topic in General Discussion Forum
maybe it's been mentioned before, but this guy's youtube channel is a great source for non-medical laypersons to get updates on vaccine, treatment and social measures for controlling spread (and he's non partisan). I've learned a lot from watching his channel. -
A friend once told me if you fly to the farthest edge of the SL map, you can see whales. I'm not sure if they speak.

As interim solutions, if you are using a viewer that allows it, you can derender the wall so you won't have to see it. If not, cover it up with something else, like plonk a building or trees in front of it.

Get yourself a titler that says "I'm not outdated, I'm vintage" and then take your time shopping and trying out new stuff π -
*censored* covid isolation
Akane Nacht replied to Adamburp Adamczyk's topic in General Discussion Forum
not really, since I have worked from home for many years. It was hard to get used to wearing a mask all the time, and a challenge sharing workspace with my spouse but we adapted and now it's rather nice. The anxiety for my elderly relatives, and for my bro who is fighting covid and a host of other health problems has been more stressful than the life adjustments I've had to make. We lost one family acquaintance but mercifully no one else close to us. I game a lot, and SL is part of that.. good place to come and just look at the scenery, since I'll be stuck on this 710sqkm island for a while to come! at least we have high speed internet and pizza delivery. keep up the good fight everyone- 63 replies

Blues music clubs seem pretty busy. I don't go regularly but whenever I do there's a crowd. -
When I grow up I want a house like...
Akane Nacht replied to archangel969's topic in General Discussion Forum
I loved this old manor house in the now-gone sim of Goatswood. I did live there for a little while (my roleplay home). The builder brought the place back for a short while and I was able to take some pics of my favourite spots. Behind was a small park and path with a Victorian wrought iron gate separating it from the lane that led to the church in the background.- 64 replies

I open them all one by one, copy into notepad on my desktop, tidy up for readability, then copy-paste the whole thing into a fresh notecard. This is assuming it's all just text and no embedded images, LMs or other notecards.
