The other day I set sail from my house and sailed all around the entire Victorian continent, into the trad location and up through the boat parade route and back down to my house. It took hours but I did it and I loved it. I saw so many cute houses and decor. Some done up by forum members I recognized.

I can not say I never caught one. I landed one on Dunbar over a year ago, and then landed another one months later on Pelham Station. I then gave up the Dunbar one. I abandoned it when the stilts came out and then regretted it for the longest time.

Super duper drat. I am never on when the seaside Vics go. They shall remain my unicorn.

Good luck finding that keeper! They are out there and I agree with you that the hunt is most the fun!

I live in one home I have and love and roll with another avie. If I get a second home I love, I furnish it and feel it out and then from there decide which one to toss.

Oh gosh. I have so many. - I remember the first time I entered Belliserria. A man I was dating (my partner now) showed me his houseboat. I was amazed because the linden homes were not what I remembered from way back when. That started my Linden home addiction. - Landing my first Victorian and entering the Vic regions for the first time. OMG. I was in love (still am). - The first stilt regions being released on Christmas Eve. It was like Santa Linden sprinkling good things. I grabbed one and put out my outside Christmas deco that same night. - The nude guy who has come by my Belli land more times than I can recall, with the line, "oh sorry, I mistakenly walked across your property line." - The group of guys who came by my home dressed as firemen who were going to save me from certain doom because they saw smoke coming from my house - my chimney to be exact. - Boating in Belli. There are SO MANY places to boat and I love it. I would rather boat in Belli than the Blake these days. - The Halloween Trick or Treating event was so much fun for me and held my focus for hours every day for days and days. It was a delightful obsession. - Seeing my addons on houses as I drive or boat around. I am always tickled pink! - Rolling, abandoning, rolling, abandoning, rolling . . . all in hopes of landing THAT ONE and finally getting it!

January 4 - 2022 UPDATE: It took days but Comcast came out and I had a bad splitter on a pole they replaced, a bad outside cable that was likely being effected by the cold (got to love Michigan) AND some other cable line that was hooked to nowhere that was causing quite a bit of interference. Took him 2 hours but he fixed it all and everything is back to good now :-)

I rolled and abandoned both the trad and Vics currently on the page. The Vics are landlocked but the one trad on Peachtree is on a little river and cute.

I have no doubt people buy premium for various reasons, and only they can decide what those reasons are worth to them. I do not put any real life money into SL and have not in over a decade. I pay my premium membership with lindens I make. I cash out approximately 3,100L a month for a month of premium (on each account I hold a Linden Home with which is two at the moment). The 300L a week stripend is minimal to me. Even with that, I still have to come up with 1,900L a month (per account) for that premium. If I also have to pay rent on land someplace else, then I downgrade my premium to help pay for that. I am really ONLY commenting on the 351LI limit on Linden Homes (topic of this thread) and why, if that was not enough and I moved away for more, that would be a deciding factor in why I eliminated my premium status.

I am not arguing whether it is a bargain or not, but it is no longer a bargain if I move off Belliserria to upgrade myself out of a starter home. I buy premium for the bargain and niceness of the Linden Homes. I LOVE THEM! However, if I did not live there, none of the other benefits are worth the $11.99 a month to me.

I have a the recent Akeruka mesh gift heads and I adore them both. I am surprised more people don't like them. The newest ones have the Lelutka Evo UV map and there are plenty of skins out there for it. I wear it on my main alt.

I crank up to ultra and then flip through windlights until I find one that fits my scene. I also go in and swing the sun around to position shadows where I want (or do not want) them. I also drag the snapshots into Photoshop and touch them up there. It's a whole process! 🤣

A lot of estates charge only 1L to buy the land and then request you pay a rental terminal/box within a specified time. I can see where someone might buy up the 1L land, terraform to grief and never pay the rental box.

Yes, Linden Homes are starter homes I suppose, but they are also a premium benefit. I think paying premium members deserve more benefits for their money because to be honest, if I didn't use a Linden home I would downgrade my accounts (and have done just that in the recent past) and go back to a free account because the remaining benefits are not worth the cost to me.

I have decorated that same exact linden log home style from top to bottom, inside and out with 351 LI. I can not deny that I would LOVE a LI increase, but1,000 is way too much. I can only imagine the lag 1,000LI worth of things on every parcel would cause. The main thing to remember when working within a 351 LI limit is to not put out high LI things to begin with. As I go along, I link everything (but things with animations in it like your bed, couch, chairs, etc and sculpts together). This reduces the LI count on the things greatly. You will be shocked how many LI/prims you can clear up doing this.

You're a rock star, @MarissaOrloff! I use an ethernet cable and my issues did fully resolve after replacing the coaxial cable. I literally troubleshot everything BUT that and then as a last resort I replaced it and VIOLA no more issues. I do appreciate all the advice you gave because I learned a lot from you and it will be super helpful if an issue like this ever arises for me again. UPDATE: I no more than typed out this update and all the issues returned again with a vengeance. I am back to walking in place and not being able to move without leaping forward, freezing and leaping forward again. I did another trace route and these results look much different then the first one I got. I am assuming this is bad. I will contact Comcast tomorrow.

Rolling a Victorian on water has always been the unicorn for me. I can roll everything else in the best of locations, but the water Vics allude me.

At first, I thought the face cam thing controlled your avie's face expressions and I could only imagine how many people would see me rolling my eyes and what a nightmare that would be.

I ended up picking this up LATE last night. I am not sure if I will hang onto it though because I am hoping the new theme releases soooooooon. If they do, I will need my rolls back!
