  1. WELP I know where my next long distance flight & drive is to! Are the rooms furnished too?
  2. 🤣 Just lucky they like what I did! Nope no rentals! I think most residential mainlanders do want a parcel that looks nice on the ground...they just don't know how to start. Plus it's easier to maintain if your surrounding neighbors do it too.
  3. I actually landscaped the entire neighborhood minus my neighbor beside me and the community center at the end of Kot on Route 9A is also my own. I've been really fortunate to become good friends with all the land owners so it's a nice little random community.
  4. Yup it's the Onsu Hollywood House!! Please visit when you can I'm on the ground too so it was definitely tricky since you can only terraform so deep on mainland so I went as deep as I could then built up so the house is on a little hill of sorts. It actually worked out and blends with the rest of the neighborhood. Driving up the driveway is always fun LOL but other than that it works well as long as you have enough land to gradually slope back down on all sides.
  5. Finally for the bar/playroom area I wanted it to feel like a glamorous speakeasy. So I went darker there as well and wanted to use the different wood textures to highlight the space. Gotta have your wine fridge and your humidor (for the cigar lovers). I loved having different accent walls to section out spaces without taking away for the room and I wanted to mix the fabrics with velvet and leather. A pool table is a must - I actually play it a lot but didn't want it to just be there so I added a chandelier and living moss walls behind the glass. I love the color plants give. That's it for now... but love how the overhaul is coming along! Feel free to visit my home! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kot/54/113/59
  6. For my bedroom i wanted a glitzier feel so I went even deeper with my tones. I love statement accent walls and I wanted something that I could look at and smell the leather. I wanted to make more use of the bedroom space so I decided to build out a little walk in closet enclosed with glass so everything still felt open. I love the little details in decorating on SL like the curtain bar across the floor to ceiling windows and the ruched curtains at the end. I'm currently making scripted curtains that will open and close alongside the entire wall of windows.
  7. Continuing my interior overhaul of my house in Kot with my bedroom I wanted warmth and texture. I found a picture of a beautiful bathroom in an interior design magazine and decided to re-create it for my bathroom. I didn't like how the standard Onsu Hollywood House as a bathroom entrance to the balcony so I took out the door and windows and replaced it with black accent windows. Where the stairs used to be leading to the bathroom from the balcony I opted to create a green space that would add color to the bathroom and the outdoor seating area next to it.
  8. It's been a while but redid my home in Kot. Since then I've helped to landscape the neighbors' properties alongside Route 9A in Kot as well. I absolutely fell in love with the Onsu Hollywood House when I first saw it and knew it's what I wanted to switch to. Feel free to come by and check it out as well as the other homes! Currently working on landscaping my neighbor's parcel across the street so if you see me say hi! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kot/54/113/59 This was actually the dining room set up for Friendsgiving but it's since now been changed back to a table with a lot less chairs I love the original feel of this Onsu house but I wanted it to be warmer Most of the rooms are still a thought in progress - like my bathroom upstairs 😅

  11. Hi Fay!! No it doesn't work if it's no transfer. So I tell people buying the land that you are buying it because it is landscaped, furnished & etc....whatever you don't want you can return I found that there are lots of people out there who want to live in mainland but are overwhelmed or discouraged with the landscaping aspects of it (especially if it's ground level) so I think you should put up your 2048 parcel for sale....and just let them know they can keep what they like or return what they don't like.
