  1. I like how they did that. It makes the 512 look like it has much more room around it. Plus, you have a rez zone right there! That is a score!
  2. I just noticed a neighbor a few homes down let go of this very nice Newbrooke facing the lake. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Huygens/132/239/22
  3. I get inspiration from other forum members who post their home pictures and from homes I see when I am out exploring. Sometimes I can get stuck and not know where to go with a theme until I see other people's work and get motivation from them. However, I never copy a home from top to bottom, even if I love it. I need to be me and have my own personal stamp on it. We are already living in "cookie cutter" neighborhoods so having some individuality matters to many of us. With that said, my builds sometimes get copied pretty heavily and most the time I do not mind. Oftentimes, the build is just different enough to make me comfortable with it. I also openly share where I get my things and even freely share pieces and addons I make myself with people who ask. I actually like getting to know people through our mutual love of Belliserria and through sharing of inspiration. I take most of it as flattery. I used a kitchen in one of my houses which resulted in a lot of sales for that creator and the only thing that annoys me about it is that I did not get a commission! I move and I change up my builds enough that no one could possibly copy everything everywhere.
  4. I love that feature as well. I want to do something similar. I get such good ideas from this thread!
  5. You sell yourself short, Leora. That looks AMAZING!
  6. You are like me in that you look for more than just some water nearby. That is a really pretty parcel. I wasn't so sure about the Sakura theme, but now that I have a home there and have furnished it, I absolutely love the theme.
  7. I hope you love Bellisseria as much as we do and welcome! Let us know what you choose!
  8. Linking everything on top of the table to the table drops the LI by 4.
  9. I got it years ago out of Deco(c)rate. I am not sure if it is sold now but it might be worth looking for in their store.
  10. Dang! I just paid full price for those yesterday! I love them though so they were worth the price 🙂
  11. I got a great parcel but I stood on it for hours flipping through homes before I decided on one I liked. It took me a bit to get rolling on this theme because I wasn't sure what to do with it, but I like how it turned out a lot. I still have some tweaking to do and I am not happy with the bath so I will keep working on that room. Here is what I have so far 🙂 OUTSIDE:
  12. Don't give up hope. I rolled and got nothing I liked until last night. That one was on a private lot with a view of the snow covered volcano in the distance. It did not have a water view so I tossed it. A "tosser" I guess. I then rolled again and got a corner lot on the water canals at the base of the volcano. Thus, good ones are definitely still to be had.
  13. Thank you for posting a Sakura! I JUST landed my Sakura in a dreamy location so I need inspiration 🙂
  14. Oh! I am sorry Johnny 😞 The good news is that with the release of the new theme, great stilts (and others) are being abandoned left and right so it's a good time to get on the roll.
  15. I am very reluctantly releasing this great stilt spot so I can free up my avie to hop over to Sakura! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Fugu/142/225/26
  16. I just let go of this super nice location right next door to the rez zone. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Harbor Lights/72/239/23
  17. Shrimp Bay has been released and there is a line of lovely pier stilts on the canal up for grabs!
  18. That makes perfect sense and not something I considered as an average SL consumer.
  19. I am on the fence about this. I will never have need for one of these regions but someone might. I think the thing I'm stuck on is that it appeals to only a very select few SL premium residents. I suppose I might benefit from it as a shopper and that is nice, but the price seems crazy high to me. Events will have to charge more per booth and I can see that higher booth price being passed on to the consumer. No, thank you. I would be much more excited it they came up with affordable options for the regular folks of SL and didn't cater only to the high-rollers. Homesteads without needing a full region would be a nice start. Ultimately, little sims - the size of a quarter sim with 1250LI & a 1/4 the price that matches - would make my year.
  20. I am happy happy happy the swap worked! HOUSE WARMING PARTY AT THEA'S! lol
  21. Someone tossed it back and it's still there, but it is stuck in queue until someone else drops another on the page.
