"They" is an acceptable alternate to s/he. Its a real word, flows much smoother, looks better, and is an alternative to he or she when gender isn't known. And, it's much nicer than "it" https://www.dictionary.com/browse/they

People still occasionally wear evil titlers. What I don't get about them is when you do write something evil they sometimes get all pissy.

I guess I'm not as immersed in SL as I thought I was.

I'm rapidly approaching the point where I was 5 years ago, having a computer that is becoming unusable for SL. My setting are as low as I can go without affecting how my avatar looks, there's no shadows, frame rate is throttled at 15, which I only manage now when I'm alone on an empty sky platform. Being with a couple of friends drops it to 10, and at a busy club with draw at 32m and everyone jellied, i'll max at about 2 fps. All these LL "fixes" aren't gonna help me, and every new improved shiny will just make things worse. I'm hoping maybe Santa will bring me a new computer next Christmas.

Don't worry soon many of the "bots" will be replaced with interactive animesh avatars. You'll be able to talk with them and even be able to do adult things with them. Will it make SL seem less barren and empty? No.

In RL you are allowed to cut and grade the road right of way to connect a driveway. It's a shame LL employees don't employ common sense when deciding to return encroaching objects. If an encroachment is logical and doesn't actually cover the road, they should leave it. Interestingly I've bought parcels where roadway features have encroached on my land, but of course one can't return those.

Roadside is always the way to go. I prefer it to protected water, since protected water is often outrageously priced. What I love is that people walking by can just drop in, and that I can walk out my front door and walk for hours, exploring if I so wish

That should have been removed for deceptive advertising. That's obviously a RL bratworst thats been photoshopped onto the picture of the avatar. I doubt the one you receive inworld looks anything like that. One question though. What's the total length of the bratworst?

Considering that I don't treat all human avatars the same way, my answer would have to be no, it all depends on the individual. The only avatars I consistently keep my distance from are human children.

Oh yes, same here, clothes for all those other bodies I know I'll never use. But I just can't delete them, just in case i might want to change bodies someday. Of course if I did delete them, I might cut my inventory in half

You spelled my name wrong

when i went mesh i got my 30 k inventory down to 20 k by deleting all my system / flexiprim clothes, plus most notecards and objects. Im back up to about 35 k now. Might be time to delete all those appliers i bought when i first went mesh.

Looking at the OP's posting history, I suspect the sim admin ran a "racist" sim and the OP was loudly complaining about it, thus getting banned. I know I've banned many people from my place for that reason. OMG look, she's making another thread all about her.

Oh I know, but how did the sim owner find out about the thread, did the OP tell them they started the thread? If I banned someone, I might not even recognize the name if they started a thread to complain, and yet the sim owner recognized themself in this thread and just had to comment? If someone did start a thread to complain about me, unless it described me and my place in some detail, I would never know it was me Of course the thread could start off with OMFG this total b***h with white hair and white bunny ears and bunny tail banned me from her place last night, and I was just so sweet and nice.... why why why? If I did comment at all it would be along the lines of LOL was that you? So yes it could be totally random and legit, but I seriously doubt it.

Waiiit a minute. This same thread was done a few weeks ago. Noob poster starts a thread to complain about being unfairly banned from a sim and asks what can be done about it. Then another noob poster responds explaining exactly why they banned the OP. Seriously?
