  1. I wonder if my hornet swarm could be scripted so that as they push you, they are stinging you, and if you don't get off the (life enabled) property fast enough, your life drops to zero and you die and are teleported home.
  2. Yes but what if you wanna RP some old grump that shakes their fist and says get off my lawn you rotten kids. Paw, get the shotgun
  3. Why would you ask politely? Either you want them there or you don't. If you don't you simply eject them. If they fuss at you over it, ban them permanently and mute them. Oh, and turn off object entry so they can't rezz a griefer item and edit it onto your property. Some people on voice that I banned were actually discussing where the nearest rezz zone was so that they could do just that. Silly kids... you can't beat the landowner.
  4. Aww you changed your picture. I'd have voted for the old one for prettiest avatar in sl.
  5. What if your land was life enabled and you used an anti-aircraft gun to shoot at the planes flying over? I once told my demon friend that he should enroll his life-enabled land in that gold hunt game they used to have. Then we could sit at the top of his castle and snipe at people as they walked toward the gold hoard. He said no because he was afraid it might be considered griefing.
  6. Just want to say thank you BlackBlade for contacting me inworld and inviting me to tour your mainland sim. I thought you did an excellent job, combining natural areas with your futuristic city. I wish more people could have such a coherent vision and bring it to fruition.
  7. I have to meet you first. You do have a mesh body right?
  8. It warns you that you are being sent home when you see that black tp screen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF_GO5Pnpk0 What if the TP instead of sending you home, sent you someplace else, like a lag inducing safe hub full of noobs and bots. That might be considered interfering with your use of SL though.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9Kl3HvJ7os and here's my fave by The Boss https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5PoIrcyd34
  10. Using a script designed to cause them to crash/force log out of Second life is banned (ie a script that activated a graphics crasher when someone entered your parcel), would be illegal, but a zero warning tp home script only disrupts your "right" to use someone else's land, and since it says quite clearly that no one has a right to expect to use anyone else's private parcel, they are NOT illegal, and they are not banned.
  11. Since ban lines only keep people from entering private parcels I don't understand why anyone can object to them in any way. If we want to point blame at obstructed waterways we need to direct it at Linden Labs for selling parcels that should have been kept as protected land. Try sailing around any continent where you'll find an entire sim is protected land, while the next one on your journey has been subdivided and sold off. As for mainland being a shared public resource, my club is open to all, but its still my private property and if I wish to restrict access at any time to any person or group of persons that I choose, either with ban lines, security orbs or a swarm of hornets, thats my right too.
  12. I'd love to see your contribution to the beautification of mainland, can you post a slurl please.
  13. Sweetie, if I buy a parcel on mainland, I OWN it, for as long as I pay my tier. I can allow everyone or no one on it. I have land on Zindra so I can have my whole parcel covered in pornography if I want.
  14. My mom used to salt the water she cooked them in, so I thought they were supposed to be salty. But i always loved them. I was such a picky eater, I don't understand how I managed to try any vegetables at all. Other veggies of course I won't eat, or even try, even till now. Others I tried as I got older and loved.
  15. I'm not accusing anyone of anything. Zero warning security orbs are just fine with me, and at least my wasps don't send you home. Plus its not a security orb, you can sit on my furniture and not be pushed by the wasps. Which reminds me, I need to place them in my new park. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Fenfarg/145/170/64
  16. Seems to me the terrible and self centered people are the ones that think they can tell people what they can and can't do with their own private parcels
  17. If I invite them to my parcel I add the person to the safe list, Unless I forget. If they wander on at random, the buzzing of the swarm makes me smile and think... oops got another one.
  18. You know what? No one has to see the unsightly mess of ban lines, and if I had regular trouble with griefers I personally would set up ban lines.
  19. It's all our fault. We were all supposed to go to Sansar, look around, fall in love with and move in, never sullying SL with our presence ever again. If it worked as planned it would be 50,000 concurrency in Sansar, and 100 in SL. Better luck next time LL
  20. OMG i was so wrong, there is some good in everyone.
  21. I can't believe everyone is still drooling in anticipation over the new improved upgraded LL slums. It will be interesting to read the fallout after they open to the public.
  22. A farmer on a farm collective in Soviet Russia was given the outstanding achievement award by his collective for personally contributing more grain to the collective's harvest than anyone else. They had a big ceremony and gave him an important sounding medal and a nice plaque to hang on his wall. He replied Comrade Supervisor, this is all very nice, and I appreciate it greatly, but could I just have a bag of grain to feed my family instead? They all laughed and slapped him on the back and said, very good joke Comrade Farmer. The next day he was shipped off to the Gulag. Paraphrased from The Gulag Archipelago by Russian writer and historian Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
  23. I'm pretty sure they are. Try declaring your independence in any meaningful way, and see what happens. My bad there is one area, where indian lands are considered sovereign, when it comes to making contracts with waste disposal companies, free of any EPA controls... because hey, they are free sovereign nations doncha know. https://www.ejnet.org/ej/toxicthreattoindianlands.pdf As usual white America s h i t s on the indians yet again.
  24. No. Object entry refers to objects without people sitting on them. I used to roll beach balls down the hill at my place, onto abandoned land, they stopped at the parcel line. Same with my hornets or any other moving objects I had rezzed. However if I rezzed a car, boat, plane, whatever and sat in it and drove onto the same parcel, I was able to enter it no problem.
