  1. Well I never ever used an alt to get around a banning, but the way they hand out punishments, it makes more sense to use one account inworld and one account in the forums.
  2. I thought everyone knew it was me. People started accusing me of being Phorumities after just a few weeks. I never admitted it, but after a while, I started regularly talking about my main (me).
  3. Oh I tried telling the truth, but these forums can't handle the truth. *grins* https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUOxEwCuEgQ
  4. I think security orbs should have some sort of pulsating glowing force field. You'd never actually get close enough to be ejected, because the lag would slow everything to a crawl, and you'd tp out just to avoid crashing
  5. Oh I agree totally there. *backing verrry slowly towards the door*
  6. My friend lives in Alaska, he connects to the internet via dog sled.
  7. I suppose if I get hit on in the next day or two by someone claiming to be 16 in RL, I'll have a pretty good idea who's sock puppet it is, or who's daughter.
  8. Yes but taking my two post together you'd have seen that I accept that 16 and 17 year olds ARE allowed in Second Life, and that I was referring to ARing anyone that claimed to be under 16. And no, 16 year olds are not adult. I guess I just need to be more specific to avoid confusing people that take every word literally. You final comment "good to know" means once again that you are baiting me or trying to be argumentative. By the way, you never did apologize that one time when you called me an out and out liar over Kwanzaa, and I then posted the Encyclopedia Britannica article to back me up, so yes, you find any and every excuse to attack everything I say. Have a nice life Mr Nightfire.
  9. when i was referring to children i meant under 16. You could certainly infer that from my previous post about not representing as a minor to a rl minor. As the wiki shows 13 to 15 year olds are restricted to the sims of the group that sponsors them and there should never ever be rl under 13's anywhere on SL. I know you never miss a chance to jump all over whatever I post, but if thats your thing, who am I to say anything about it?
  10. And another thing, there are no RL children in second life. Why would you even think for a second that you are making clothing for RL babies/toddlers/children? If you do find you are dealing with a RL child, you should immediately AR them, because they are NOT supposed to be here.
  11. It means you as an adult cannot pretend to be underage in RL to interact with someone else in RL that is underage. For example, if you meet a person that is 16 years old in rl, you CAN NOT pretend to be 16 yourself in RL in an attempt to engage them in any way. THAT is what is forbidden.
  12. I'm usually bored and irritated, but nothing could be worse than being ugly and unfashionable. On a cheery note, I have my twin back, I'll post a picture if we ever get dressed. 😂
  13. Darn, for a second, when i read the topic, I thought you were going to ask which forum poster would be the worst to be forced to deal with on a daily basis for a year. Now THAT would have been an interesting discussion.
  14. And now the time has come to recuse myself from this thread, lest I be accused of badgering another member and prolonging discord.
  15. It amazes me how people post in here, pretending to be compassionate and caring, but can not pass up an opportunity to attack and insult others. And then expect to be thanked for it.
  16. You'd be surprised at the number of people that got a mesh head but kept their system face as their profile picture. Perhaps it was a particularly attractive pose, or one done by a good friend. My hair has been continuously platinum blond for over a year now, but I just like the pic with my red hair too much to replace it.
  17. Luna, the only person I have ever caused trouble for in here is myself, for being too opinionated, or too contrary, or too strident. I will admit, I've reported a few posts that were nothing but gratuitous attacks on me, but isn't that is how the game is played in here? Wind someone up, get them to cross the line, then report them. A ban is as good as a win right? Have a nice life Luna. p.s. And for the record, I hate to see Phil leaving Second Life, he's been around even longer than me, but I can not imagine any arguments he and I had would have had any influence on his decision to leave SL.
  18. I'm the same way, when what they say in their profile mirrors your own feelings. And if they have a cute picture, it's like love at first reading. Of course then you meet and that pretty face has no gone, obliterated under a mesh head.
  19. Can we even discuss past penalties without running the risk of being banned for discussing moderator activity and decisions? Since I've returned on this account, I have been on my best behavour, even to the point of second guessing myself and deleting posts if i think they might be even remotely considered trolling or attacking another member. Even so, every time i close the forums, I wonder if today is the day I said something that someone might take offence at and report it.
  20. They could hide everyone's username and force everyone to pick a display name. Mine of course would be BilliJo Aldrin
