Wow, in all my years of SL, I never knew about that. The only time I ever even go to that map page is when I click a SLURL from some blog / web post.

I moved from Nancy Drew to Agatha Christie. I didn't find sci-fi until high school and didn't really get into it until college.

I also read a few of the Hardy Boys books, but didn't relate to them as much. The books that I have the Collector set of is the Little House on the Prairie series.

This reminded me so much of the old chat rooms - anyone else? OP, you are way too young to understand that

I just had to post this one, but NOT because I recommend them to anyone. I was trying on some of my really old boots because some of them actually work better than before now that I can alpha out part of the legs. Anyway, I came across this pair and truly laughed when I put them on. They are 3 parts each leg/foot and look absolutely horrid if you move in any way that causes your knee to bend. Not to mention that they come in around 100,000 CI. Based on the style - there is a glitter all up and down the sides - they must have been a hunt prize or some other freebie because there is no way I would have actually bought them. Anyway, thought I'd share my chuckle

I commented on your other post: First thing I'd do is relog. Sometimes things get odd in SL. If that is a no go, clearing your texture cache can possibly fix it, cince it would seem to be a texture issue. Also, pulling out a new copy of the body itself might take care of the problem.

Now the fact that these TP you to random locations is super cool.

Double check that you clicked OK in the color box - rather than just picking a color and then Xing out of the color box. I sometimes X out and then wonder why the color didn't take.

The bottom of the ocean, way offshore, works well. I used that a lot in my early days. You can also join various groups inworld that offer places. Peruse my profile (picks) - there is a group that a lot of us Forum folks (some would say a Cartel) belong to and they have changing rooms way up in the sky for their members. /me hid that plug nicely, huh?
