This happens to me quite often. Taking off just one tattoo layer fixes it for me, then I just put the tattoo layer back on and it's all good. I've heard people say that swapping their bald head or hair base for a different bald head/hair base fixes it for them.

you'll need to start with a larger file - 512 at the very least. don't try to up-size your existing files, it won't work, they will be blurry. start larger, reduce to 512 for clothes before uploading.

I really really really miss the ability to just create a folder, pick and choose from what I am wearing and put a copy of it into the folder, like we used to be able to do pre V2. Not a link, a copy. That function was one of the main reasons I took my time giving up v1, and I still miss it. It was very very helpful when boxing things for sale, there is no longer an easy way to do it. :matte-motes-crying:

Don't forget, many people use Windlight settings and never see night!

There's definitely a market for mesh avatars, but those of us using standard slider-modified avi's aren't going anywhere, not any time soon I'll bet.

it's to keep people from screenshotting and then using the textures. steal a mouth here, a buckle there, leather texture off a purse or something like that. and to keep copybotters from using the demo textures and just brushing out 'demo.' a copybotter is not going to buy anything, that's sort of the point of copybotting.

Everything seems correct comparing my L$ balances, and the other transactions in my history seem correct so far.

I just started testing to see if I can recreate the error - so far I can not recreate it. It is very weird. And the person who purchased it on the cheap purchased it multiple times for the same price (L45), when the vendor box is set at L250.

First time I've ever seen this happen - I have an object in my in-world store set for sale for L250, but it turns up in my Transaction History as being sold for L45. All I can say is WTF? Anyone else have this happen recently??

I have verizon fios and a bandwidth cap would seriously hinder my life, I think. We do everything online these days, from watching tv and movies to hanging in SL and other virtual places. There are probably only a couple hours per day that a computer in my house is not logged in somewhere online. I hope bandwidth capping does not become a trend, but it does seem inevitable.

I still use a non-mesh viewer mainly because I want to see for myself how much mesh is really being worn, and it's not as common as I thought it would be by now. Until I see more people wearing mesh, I'll keep my current viewer. I'm seeing mesh here and there, but often as not, no mesh in sight... I think mesh is great for building, but as for clothing or hair, eh, not so much, not yet anyway. Not dissing the mesh creators at all, their talent and effort there is amazing. The growing pains of getting settled into a new viewer isn't worth it for me yet.

um, sounds like you may be trying on demo skins instead of demo hair, unless you are in a very very laggy sim and the hair is taking a very long time to rez. try going to an empty sim and try it on again, you may have better luck. i have no idea who has good free male hair tho. there should be some male hair in your LL library for the standard avatars. the female hair in the LL library is pretty nice, for being free, but I've never even looked at the male hair. and if this is just a bot post then I apoligize to the rest of the forum... lol.

Do what Ceka said - check your info on file.

when I am a cloud and can't seem to rez, I take off a tattoo layer or two. that usually fixes the problem for me. I've heard people say changing their bald heads or switching skins can help too.

there really should be some sort of notice for everyone to go check their info on file, it's been happening a lot over the last several weeks. I could see this causing some folks serious issues with overdrafts or other penalties that could stem from the wrong cc info being in your account. I was lucky because mine just reverted to an old card that was expired, but for someone else it could cause worse problems.
