  1. If the head is BoM compatible turn it on in the relevant Hud otherwise you need to wear (add) an alpha layer that hides the whole head or head and not eyes if you want to use system eyes, an appropriate alpha layer should have been included in the head package
  2. Do keep with the 5.3 body and have your feet set to 25. if you are absolutely certain you are using the most appropriate foot shape and the Maitreya rig go in to your body Hud and alpha out the foot not the ankle part unless necessary. sometimes and creators usually do warn of this boots and closed foot shoes do require the foot to be alpha'd
  3. You need to look at the land impact count of everything you are rezzing and see if you can slim down anywhere even if that means buying new low land impact items or experimenting with linking non animated objects which can reduce things. When I had that style of log home I was able to furnish all the floors plus have stuff outside and have Prims to spare. 351 Li is plenty enough to work with when you don't have to factor in the Li of a House. On my mainland I have approx half that to use on both a home and furnishings and still managed to decorate with Prims to spare just be grateful it's not the the old days when they would've been limited to 234 Li.
  4. The way i bought my mesh head was to go to a bunch of mesh head stores grab demos of all heads try them on at home not changing my shape and i then settled for the head that looked closest to 'me'. In the time i've had my head i've tweaked it here and there added or changed cosmetic elements. I found taking a head shot with 4-5x ctrl +0 i could refer to was the best way of deciding what to choose when demoing
  5. Most of the house style plots aren't big enough for much more than a built in paddling pool, if you want to leave space for the tenant to decorate the outside space how they want. There is a few ponds and water features in the demo region hopefully the finished inland regions will have a greater number to keep people happy
  6. Give the homes in the demo region are all WIPs i think a release within the first quarter of next year is unlikely
  7. I've had about 5 throughout my life they used to be included on midi systems, a good quality one you will have to expect to replace the cartridge at some point and belt when it wears out if belt drive.
  8. Zyngo got outlawed years ago the creator never became an approved skill game creator. You can find a list of approved creators/operators/games at wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Second_Life_Skill_Gaming_Approved_Participants the closest skill game i know of to Zyngo is Joker. If you are able to get in to skill game regions most if not all have freeplay games paying a small amount of L$ that you can familiarise yourself with before trying a paid game
  9. It's something that's been soon™ for a couple of years. I don't think anyone has said what it will include. The only thing I remember about it is that If you wanted to upgrade and were premium the price would be adjusted based on how much time you had left on your plan
  10. I have this from Wrong https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/WRONG-POWER-WORKOUT-REDBLACK-ADULT/17490291 you may wish to keep an eye out for it in the L$60 Happy Weekend sale i've seen it on offer several times before
  11. This is where it's worth paying out for premium if you are able to, you should AR the griefing first, if you can chat to a live chat agent the grief attack will be cleared up quite quickly. If it is public sandboxes you are using another benefit of premium is exclusive sandboxes you are far less likely to be targeted by griefers there
  12. I noticed both Coniston bungalow homes are locked however anyone on Firestorm or another viewer that can do this, cam inside either property and type tp2cam in local chat If you want to get inside and look around. I think if I were to go for the new theme that's the home I'd go for as the other 1024 properties are too big for my liking.
  13. Charlton Heston just because and not for the first time, someone in world today thought I must be related since my last name is Hesten.
