you can hide chat on screen in your preferances , as far as the stand up button, if you use a programm such as debut capture, you can resize your screen to edit out the button. I have tried several of the free programms and debut video capture gives the best results. it is an NCH programm. I tried another that was touted to be the best (BSR) but it turned out pixelated even after i changed the resolution. have fun and hope this helped. now you dont have to wait until the next update

Hi there. You can make a large prim or several large prims to fill the depression you make in the ground. amoung the items you get for free in your library from LL, are some water textures with will give an ocean look. you can also get different types of scripts for flowwing water. you shoud also have one of these amongst your freebie textures kindly supplied by LL. experiment coz it will take a little time to get it how you really want it. good luck

SWA security systems are the best, i have never had a problem ejecting anyone and they always work wehter you own the land or rent it. I have never tried the others, but have been using SWA for a few years now and wont use anything else. period

mine got out of control early on, and i found it hard to find anything. Then I decided to do domething about it and made folders of subject headings, then put things in those under sub headings. main folders like furniture,hair,clothes,building tools, ducuments were also split into catagories as i had a couple of businesses, so keeping records separate was very helpful. It took me weeks to play catch-up with organizing it, but now when i acquire anything, i immediately put it in a folder that i associate it with. You (everyone) really needs this explained to them when they sigh up, just to save them the pain later on. Hope this helps

this is why you are better off buying Lindens with you credit card, and paying for things with Lind $ only. at least that way only LL will see details of yoiur RL (which they already know anyway. NEVER EVER give CC details or any other RL details in SL unless you know them personally.

I have had a few friends die in Rl and i placed a permenant grave with brass plaque on my land to honour them. If i sdie in RL, i wouldnt mind a funeral to be held in Sl, but i wont be attending obviously............

REALLY?.....just sounds like more false promises, or if they fix this something else will break. My phone company has been sending me texts, telling me how they are making improvements to my service which may cause disruptions. But still My calls will drop out when i move from one room to another.....blah blah blah blah is what i hear. More business hype and beauracratic bull.......I pay my tiers, i won land, i dont take the LL free house and land, i keep my place free of large scripts....and stilll i recieve a low level of service because LL sought higher profits and sacked a lot of workers............

actually, secondlife suits it perfectly. As there is just as much bull, ripoffs, bad governor decisions, griefing, ect as there is in Real life, which we could call Firstlife.

ask the land owner to make it fully transparent at least, after all, i am sure you did not intend to rent a phantom green square. and land owners are usually pretty good ppl....(well, I am anyway..lol) if the owner is worried about finding it again, they can always "cntl T" which shows all transparent prims

The more you have, the more it will cost you in security. My physical safety is alright because I am large, strong and well trained and I have a large trained dog that looks after my place when I am not home. However. SL is safer because of the anonymity of it and all they can do is copy (steal intellectual license) which is no real personal threat.

i used to have a lot of trouble like that too, but that was when i was new. since then I only visit the same places so have worked out where i wish to go, and got the computer to remember it. i also have a secret file with my passwords and usernames in it so i dont get confused, as i make my passwords impossible to break. SL can can a real pain in the bum sometimes.

if someone isnt hurting/annoying/sucking someone else fun out/ then i dont really care what they do. each to his own, it is only when that "each to his own" interferes with someone else's experience without their consentthat i get pissed off. Like griefers..people who **bleep** with other people because they think they are smarter than everyone else, but really they are just bedroom bound children at their computers who don't have a life. nuff said.

i had a D-link, and it was usless, couldnt even leave the room it was in without losing signal. so i got a netgear and have been laughting ever since, although, sl seems to run slower on laptops because of the graphics cards. i run sl on my pc as i put a huge graphics card in it and i can run on high graphics settings without any problems. althout with an i7 you really shouldn't have any problems, so the only thing is your connect or your router. you can test you internet speed, there are websites the will test it for you, because the further away from your exchage you are the slower you cconnection will be, so test you internet connection FIRST, and if that comes out ok, then change your modem. But i would be changing the modem just from experience anyway. But you can test you connection now online for free. good luck......and

regardless of you feelings towards this kind of behaviour, what is it to you anyway?...you said you never shopped there so it makes no difference if you are banned or not. SL is like RL in that, shops and shopping centers are privately owned business, and without reason they can have you banned for whatever the reason they want. Move on, shop somewhere else, they can only hurt themselves by shrinking their own market %, and you can always tell all your frineds that its not a nice place to go. word of mouth can be devistating. and when their market is dried up, they will be out of business and someone else will buy the land.

thanks, it isnt a simple thing to try to please everybody, but i applaud your efforts as this is more than what others may have done. most like to think they know what everyone wants. I have a LOT of womens clothes in my inventory that were supposed to be transfer ( but turned out only the coyable stuff was) and now i am stuck with them. i went to all the creators and asked to change them and only got a few responses. the others never got my business again, while the few that responded, i only got 2 Items exchanged for transfer and that still took a few days. the only other course is to give someone the LL and tell them what to buy.....and where is the surprise in that!!!!....i dont think copy is that important, but realize that you cant have both. I dont need copy, and i shop for myself like a male (rarely) but i do like to give quality products to those that i care about. Having transfer is a big one. not only to give as gifts, but if you have to start a new avi (perhpas you are a victim of greifers or something) then you can give them to yourself. without transfer, they are just rubbish waiting to be binned. and modify to resize. sometimes it looks silly if you are sitting on a chair that looks like it is for you kids. i am always annoyed at creators who dont give transfer permission, because even though you own something, they are still controlling what you do with it. i have often bought gifts that when i right click says transfer, but when i try to give them away, there is only the copyable part that is transfer, meaning i cant give them awat at all.....THIS REALLY PEAVES ME OFF TO NO END!! thanks for starting this thread so i can get this off my chest.......i decided long ago not to buy anything i can give away.............have a nice day
