I'm using 3.0.0 Beta and so far i haven't noticed any difference (most of the time i use WinAmp anyway ). But i think that it would be rather strange to make the viewer responsible for not playing a select few stations!

If you click on the field with your L$, it should refresh your L$-Balance.

One reason might be, if you install a new viewer, it has to load ALL your inventory first. And, depending on the size of your inventory and/or how laggy the sim is you start in, that might take a loooong time. And the stuff you wear might not be the 1st to load either. For me it takes less than a minute with my regular viewer (Viewer 2.7.6) and goes up whenever i try out a new one.

You're right Although it's not my "beloved", i just can do my stuff easier with it. But it would be a really cool idea (as others allready mentioned), if LL would gives us a choice. A customizable UI or something. I use Starlight Skins, which is allready a modified UI, so it can't be that hard for LL to do something alike, i guess. I would just like to see them take care of these annoying new bugs that crept in lately, after that, they should take care of the UI.

First thing you should do is, CLEAR YOUR CACHE!! Look in your Prefs , where your cache is located, and manually delete the files in that folder. Most of the time this will fix the problem.

/me facepalms Well, i am certainly not a fan of Phoenix, but disregarding a software because it has , and i quote you here, "untrustworthy (develish even) colors" ?!? Please, if you like V 1.23.5, fine, but at least TRY to give us normal arguments or facts. Also, it would be nice if you would at least acknowledge that there has been done a LOT lately (not all of it good, yes) , and a lot of this even positively affects you !!

If you mean folders like Landmarks, Animations, Favorites etc., you can't. (And i actually don't even know why, but that's just me. ) If you mean the Library, you can turn that off in advance menu (Ctrl+alt+D) -> show debug settings. Just set "NoInventoryLibrary" to true.

You forgot to mention that Viewer 2 also exclusivly supports multiple layers (clothing, tattoos etc.) among other things
