  1. Wasn't meant as such But they do seem to be more aware of the fact that not every female on this planet has double-D's
  2. There are several Security Orbs available inworld or on the Marketplace for this. (like, for example PDS Home Security Orb) Hope this helps
  3. It's possible to Cam inside EVERYTHING. It might take some work and rotating the Cam, but with ctrl+alt+Mouse one can get inside every House or structure. It's just a matter of the right focus. With the new privacy settings i might not be able to see or listen to the Avi's inside though ETA: Not saying that one should do it, just mentioning that it is technically possible
  4. Not sure if they are exactly your style, but for A-Cup's and such, take a look at all the Asian Skin Makers. They generally have smaller breast sizes and also tend to do less on the shading stuff. Sakurako, May Shop, Dr.Life, Tokyo Girl or My UglyDorothy are a few that i can think of right now. Btw, why is a Tattoo layer annoying to wear ? Quite a few Viewers support Multiple Layers on the same spot
  5. EMO-tions, Tukinowaguma, Dr.Life, Wasabi Pills and Battle Angel.
  6. Hmm, Beta out now, means Win 8 hits the stores next year. As usual, it will be usable with the 1st Service-Pack. So why should i bother NOW if or if not my Viewer runs on Win 8 in almost 2 Years from now ?
  7. Your color suggestions are certainly interesting, but, as almost everything in the world, highly dependent on personal taste. Not everyone likes the Appledesign, you know (Or Chrome for that matter) Also i wonder, if these would make a UI successful, why is Phoenix the most used Viewer? (Their default color scheme is everything BUT nice to look at.) I prefer to be able to customize the colorschemes for the software I use! Otherwise, i agree, that some streamlining is of great importance. I just don't think that LL is even able to pay the same amount of money that Apple pays it's Designers, or Google. Those are slightly bigger companies.
  8. Chriz Collins wrote: hi i dont find 'disable hover tips' in preferences.. C.C Hmm, then it might be a feature of the Starlight Skin i use. ps.: look in your other post for this. (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Viewer/Skinn-s-for-Viewer2-3/m-p/1098809#M7699)
  9. Chriz Collins wrote: at Viewer1 there was always possible to change the Look of the browser....but i dont find such in that Viewer2+3. is not more possible to change? C.C It's not possible to change the Skin from inside the official Viewer, BUT fortunatly for us, somebody delivered a solution to this. You might want to take a look here : http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Viewer_Skins/Starlight Not only do these skins provide you with some color options, they also add some nice additional options to the viewer !
  10. They haven't yet, because of some issues with MoAP. But i'm sure others here can explain it a bit better or in more depth
  11. You can try Dolphin Viewer 3, it even has Mesh Support now. http://dolphinviewer.eregion.de/dolphinviewer2/
  12. An "Avatar" is the "Person" you see on your screen. Creators often refer to an Avatar when they sell a complete Set for your Avi, like Skin, Shape, Hair, Clothes etc, put together in a package. The "Skin" is only the outer shell of your Avi, like the skin every human has It covers your Shape, and defines the basic look, like skincolor and how the face looks. Hope this helps
  13. Go to Prefs/Viewer and disable hoover tips. Hope this helps
  14. Never had the chance to actually USE the Viewer (Compy is simply not good enough), but from what i've seen, it was, for Graphic enthusiasts, probably the best there is. Hope the RL probs will work out in the for the two of em! And all the best wishes.
  15. You are right, and if this would only apply to forums and stuff (ok, this is what the OP is all about ), most of us would probably just ignore posts that are in some way unfair or uncalled for, at least i would. And i fully agree on the part that the info from LL is ....slim to non existant. There is just 1 additional problem for Users of the Official Viewer, which adds immensly to my anger. I do not see inworld who uses what Viewer, so i don't care. Everyone around me is just (more or less) enjoying SL. Unfortunatly (for me) certain Viewers DO show what others are using, so imagine me, for more or less my whole SL-Life (begining the moment i first rezzed) getting uncalled IM's from somebody, somewhere with their opinions, totally out of the blue blaming me for using a Viewer that just happens to work for ME! This is in NO WAY civilized, and sooner or later everyone in this position is getting angry about it! This might explain why users of the official Viewer are perhaps a bit less "diplomatic" in the forums, even if it isn't the correct way. I don't know who started it all (and frankly don't care), but LL should put an end to it.
  16. There is a simple way to to prevent (any) Viewer to (temporarily) affect your Inventory. When you log-in, take a few seconds to let your Inventory load COMPLETLY (just open the recent items tab and wait until it stops counting) before you tp or (even worse) log-out again. Btw, that this is a bug in V3 is a myth
  17. Looking at my end here at these Chatprobs, i actually do not see a pattern. If lag happens, here seems to be a "better" chance of it in bigger groups, but i also see this happen in VERY small groups. Strangly there are whole days without chatlag whatsoever. Also the inability to open Groupchat is very random at times, ie. fail at open at group 1 and 10 secs after this having no problem opening it at group 2 (roughly same size). Seems strange to me.
  18. Just speaking on the matter of Viewers here. Frustration is probably one reason. Passion another. For some , like me for example, it is also to a degree a bit of anger. I happen to be one of those users who actually like V2/3, and for some reasons don't even have technical probs with it. And it is VERY annoying, that whenever some prob or question comes up for me (me being relatively new in SL), almost every answer one get's beginns with "Get Viewer X" or "Why are you still using THAT Viewer ? eww!" or something along this line. So, eventually one beginns to simply fire back in kind. Definatly not the correct way, yes, but at least to some degree it seems inevitable. The only ones to solve this, is LL. ps: this is in NO way meant as an attack on anyone, just a description of feelings
  20. The very few times i had a similar prob, it was usualy fixed by going to a less laggy Sim.
  21. Your Outfits in "My Appearance" are not Objects, they are just links to these objects. So the only thing you should take care of, is that these links are still intact. As for the folders, haven't tried it, but i think it's not possible.
  22. This could be an effect of the new Physics Engine that was in the Server Update 2 weeks ago. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Server/Deploys-for-the-week-of-2011-08-22/m-p/1052875/message-uid/1052875#U1052875
  23. As Void allready pointed out, it's about wearing multiple Items on the same Layer. For example wearing on the Tattoo Layer one eyeshadow tattoo + lipstick tattoo + whatever Tattoo, or more than 1 Alpha Mask (Shoes + Tail) etc.
  24. Void Singer wrote: it's the multiple clothing/tatto layyers that aren't supported (or perhaps just the tattoos, Henri could clarify) That's what i meant.
