  1. Just bought it! was cheap too - only 10L$ - Thanks!
  2. Looks great - who produces these? Where did you get them?
  3. Yesterday my Alt tried to give me and all her Family- Group (all Alts of mine) to which the parcel is allready deeded access to the Control Panel. She touched the panel chose "Access" then "Add name" then typed a login name ... for instance "Leora Jacobus" then "send" ... and so on for each name. When she choses "Access" - "List" in open chat it says "You and leora.jacobus... (all names) ... are authorized to use this control panel now." - so far so good! But when I appear or any of the family we cannot even open the doors let alone access the panel! What went wrong? PS: That was yesterday! ...today my "brother" tried and he could open the doors - but not access the panel. When he touches it, no menue appears! But then after some time it says in chat: " Control menu has timed out. Touch control panel again to make any further changes."- so it must have reacted to him. - Leora: the same! doors yes - panel no but answer! ... can all that be due to "maintenance on the Second Life network May 13 - 16" ??
  4. The club is called "The refreshing club"
  5. Well you should give us the exact position of this fierce orb, or nobody can do anything about it.
  6. Well if there was a theater - or a sort of club - some open air stage ... I am sure there are singers that would volunteer to perform - hoping for tips (as they allways do) - or would that be "commercial" ??
  7. That would be OK with me... for I am on a RL journey to Prag and though I have WiFi most of the time I can't go inworld with my little netbook. Will return home late on Tuesday, so I'd prefer it to be on Wednesday or after that.
  8. To throw in a guess: I should say Monday. The last time was also Monday. So they try to have the worst RUSH - and the complaints and bugs and complications - over till next WE
  9. I have a very nicelooking outdoor shower in my garden - the ADULT version - and plan to keep it there. Should I ever fancy to shower naked there or indulge in adult activities (haven't done so for quite a long time) then I will first set "avatars invisible" .. I guess I will set that anyway permanently for what I do in my house for 80% of the time is unpacking and trying on dresses - naked. - anyway the ORB seems a good thing to have installed and going - even if I am not there. But I quite see your point @Atina0 The shower itself looks good and quite harmless - I would NOT like people having torture equipment out in their garden though or f...ingmachines or some such. Even inside the house - though they are perfectly within their rights to have it there - I personally would rezz this kind of equipment directly on demand - means before I planned to use it - if and in case I would have this kind of taste!
  10. Well there could be seperate areas- a living area and a shopping area like a little downtown in a small city were you ca buy your stuff. As long as the covenant says that the shopowners must take the (nice and fitting) shops provided and are only allowed to rezz in the inside why not have shops? I lived for a very long time in the cite de coer that looks like french countryside and they rent out little shops in the shopping areas aswell as houses ... and the shopowners are expected to sell things in style and decorate in style.
  11. Maybe someone allready gave you the answer- only saw your question now. - I meant THIS Page
  12. Is there no limit to derendering? - There must be a list and maybe in years it might have grown ... 100 ... 1000 ??? Can you clear it? can you RE-render things? As to rerolling ... at the moment Leora is homeless and residing with her little "sister" (Alt) in a quite agreable parcel. Only if Leora gets a GREAT one ... realy BETTER ... also on second and third sight! ... little sister will let go!
  13. I am sure there are quite a lot of people who managed to get a house though they wanted a houseboat ... or got a parcel that isn't very attractive ... but instead of giving it up right away they wait for some more and better being offered. In Germany we have a proverb: Better a sparrow in your hand than a dove on the roof! But these people are in a sort of waiting position, so they might not take the trouble of spending hours on decorating these homes or even buy stuff to match them. I myself am not really sure I want to stay where I am, so I decorated the garden first ... and the house more basically Bed, Tub, Sofa , but no little bits and decos
  14. Well the possibility of having a skybox above ones Lindenhome is NEW and I guess there are people quite excited about that. Might be a good idea to have lots that are molemade pretty landscape (woods or parks or such) on the ground and people get them ONLY to build skyboxes on? Or (like was suggested) on the groundlevel sailable deep water - only place to build is in the skye - and to compensate for that - and make skyboxlovers TAKE those - they could have some MORE prims on those waterparcels for there are no molemade decorations there or a house. Perhaps an idea for @Patch Linden to consider??
  15. As far as I understand you are only supposed to take reasonable precautions for noone being watching you. If the orb is in place and working you should be fine whatever you are doing and shame on the spies that try to report you!
  16. This is CUTE! Where did you get it? I have now a bike and a rowboat both wearable might go on to a wearable PLANE!
  17. Me too! I was thinking about a group for "Europeans in Bellisseria" - not that I don't like to talk to others (quite thge contrary), just because of the time lag. Where I used to live they had lots if concerts and such usually starting at the time (or after) I wanted to go to bed!
  18. In Normandale near my home in I found a little rowboat. You can not set to sea in it but there are some nice poses for one person or a couple to take photos - You can even mimic the Titanic. - or be seasick! Rowboat_Titanic by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr Meanwhile one of my Alts first went to an extremely nice public pool on the seashore in Hartnell ... sat there for a while ... Seashore_Pool by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr ... till she met a young lady with a cup of coffee in her hand ... asked where she got that ... and went to the "Books & Coffe" Hot_Coffe by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr ... the hot drinks are free - the waiter a bit unfriendly ... and I opened that DOOR ..... iiiiihhhhkkk!
  19. Perhaps you can bribe a mole - or persuade him - to put molehedges all around your lot - just OUTsinde of your parcel? - like they did in many places. The very first home I hve been offered - the one with the sea view - had a very bare sand- garden. I tried to surround it by the mole hedges that were in the packet in the postbox. To my dismay I discovered that you couldnt just STRECH them - like you can do with the walls - but have to use dozends of them to get all around. That was one of the reasons I abandoned it. - The other was the noisy neighbour with his motorbyke- rezzer.
  20. Well we could just ask @Patch Linden what he thinks of it.
  21. Well I would prefer it to be the other way round: That some mod melt all these "why didn't I get a home?"- threads into one! The quality of a Forum IMHO grows not witth the NUMBER of threads but with them being well arranged and distinguishible.
  22. I do not think so. The Linden Homes Photo thread could be for presenting our HOMES (inside and garden) while I opened a thread for tours HERE Plus there is another one HERE
  23. But the last picture with the hedge and door and blossom tree looks lovely! Didn't you like that?
  24. That's a LOT of flowers! Are they of the type one BUNCH is only LI=1 ???
  25. Another method I used successfully: Log into the "give me a home" page NOT as yourself but as one of your Not- Premium Alts. If you don't have one, just make one. They will offer you the best there is, trying to lure you into becoming a Premium. If there is nothing, just try again some other time. If there IS something then you might throw in 9.50 US$ and grab it (I did!) ... or log out, abandon you mainland - or do whatever was adviced to rid yourself of it for the moment - and try to grab it as yourself. Maybe it will be gone by then - hard luck!
