  1. I took the lightest too - it is called PURE - left row - second from above. But that is a sort of light beige - just a little yellow and brown in white. But as you said a lot depends upon the light. PS: NOW I got it ! - your's must be ICEGREY - middle row - third from above
  2. And once I am at it ... the bedroom with bath ... HomeA01_SZ by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr
  3. The walls have a nice colour nearly white with a slight tone of greenishgrey - which colur is that?
  4. Though I am not finally setteled down yet, I couldn't help experimenting a bit with all my nice new furniture from the PM sale. HomeA01_WZ by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr
  5. Yes we do! I walked by your house this morning - recognized it from the picture And yes they were! - extremly cheap (10L$) and usefull pool just not animated. You have to put animations in from other pools you own. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Garden-Swimming-Pool/12578961
  6. My Alt's getting on with her garden, planted a big tree and some flowers and even the grasstexture of the pool adapts now nicely to the lawn. HomeS01_Tree by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr
  7. Well I am lucky to have reasonable houses held by my alts, so I will not despair! Leora is the one hopping about at the moment and regrets deeply haven given up the first home with the nice sea view! Yesterday they told me I would have to wait for 24 hours. Today I tried again, got the most gastly home imaginible (of the new ones! still parasdise compared with the old) abandoned it at once, asked for a new one and what did I get? The same gastly home all over again!! Guess what I did? abandon it!! ... now I 'll wait one or two hours and try again! Meanwhile helping my alts doing their gardens
  8. Well that's a GREAT idea!!! Hope @Patch Linden (or some og the family) hears (reads) that and considers it I myself didn't yet try to fill the house with furniture, for I am not sure where I'll finally settle down, but so far I am optimistic. Where I rented so far (lovely landscape, cute little three room cottage), I had only 134 LI to furnish it, so I am used to saving LI whereever possible. To have 351 at my disposal seems like heaven to me!
  9. My first home had a nice seaview but I abandoned it (maybe a mistake?) because of the very bare sandgarden (and some loud neighbours with motorbikes). Now I have a green garden where even a pool fits in and also a nice view - but only with some sea in a distance. I keep searching ... me and my alts
  10. I got one tooin Reeds Landing and was very happy at first with my seeview. But the I realized that the landscape was very bare .. and especially my garden. To make it as nice and green as the ones on the preview exibition had been I would have to spend half of my prims. So I decided to look elsewhere, especially as my neighbours rezzed somo motorbikes in their garden and filled the air with howling noise! Looking back I tend to regret it, but I found another, or my Alt did. Still not sure where I'll stay finally. So I will not yet unpack aΓΆΓΆ of my furniture.
  11. Well my Alt is still changing houses - so she should get a houseboat next!
  12. Well you get a pack in your Postbox choosing 6 Then there is a texture box in that pack - haven't opened that yet.
  13. I wasn't doubting THAT - But where did she squueze in the deviding wall between Bedroom and bath? How would that look when you come up the stairs? and how dis she get THREE rooms in the groundfloor? living- diningroom and kitchen? ... looking closer I BEGIN to understand - Kitchen plus dining at the garden side - living where I put the kitchen.
  14. Simply GORGEOUS!! I LOVE it! - which room is which? Where did you put in extra walls?
  15. I keep trying! ... "an error occured ..." Are they all gone allready? PS: good!! I was lucky!! GOT one!!
  16. I experienced the same - over and over again - I have to log in on every visit - very annoying!
  17. The room has three windows and unfortunally they are rather large so you couldn't fit any part of the kitchen under them. PS: Did a little calkulating on the measures I posted yesterday: Ground floor: Kitchen facing the street 5,5 x 6 m that is- 33qm the backroom (living room) with the terracedoor to the garden is 9x6 m - 54qm Upstairs there is one uge room 7x9,5m makes another 66,5 qm This adds up to 153,5 qm living space in the house not counting the corridor, stairs and the spacy balcony (about 6x3m = 18qm) that plus the nice big garden makes what I would call a VERY NICE home! Can't wait to move in!!
  18. My favourite house is Traditional - Winchester the two story one with the balkony. I took the measures of all the rooms. Ground floor: Kitchen facing the street 5,5 x 6 m - the backroom (living room) with the terracedoor to the garden is 9x6 m Upstairs there is one uge room 7x9,5m plus a spacy balkony (about 6x3m) - lots of room for furniture! To find out wether my PixelMode kitchen would fit in I made a dummy of the kitchen floor with marked doors and windows: It fits in fine (the 5m version) plus the middle block. The house is just perfect and in RL you would consider the rooms quite big, even if you are 200cm I tested the old Lindenhomes but they are FAR too large without seperate rooms - so you can just shatter your furniture anywhere - and they still look dead and empty!
  19. Men? Women? or an average of both? I am a German woman of 164 cm and that is (or has been some decades ago) - as far as I know - strictly average. My avatar is 200cm and I like her that way.
  20. When you mentioned the window boxes I went there joined and took ALL the GGs - quite a bargain for 250 L$ I thought.
  21. I don't use Firestorm but Singularity. And I'm sure it was all MY mistake. I did not klick on boxes but on the objects and I wanted to take snapshots of object and price so while the window with "Do you want to buy x for y L$ ?" was still open, I meant to click on my photo- gear i- nstead suddenly I had bought the item. Anyway I don't mind - now I have another pool (or rather stone- tub) to add my animations to and a bunsh of flowers can't hurt once I have my little garden. .. But on the whole I will not have to buy plants and rocks and such stuff. I am in SL since 2007 and have lots of things in my inventory - including parts of skyboxes and houses I dissassembled. Only problem might be the prims or LI, for most of these items are rather old and its's only nowadays people produce whole kitchens or gardens using just one prim. I am just testing lots of stuff in a sandbox - or rather my alts do - they have UGE inventories aswell
  22. I went there and grabbed the free groundcover. But beware it is dangerous ground! I clicked a few things to see how much they are and wooosh - I had bought them!
  23. That is a great shop!! Thanks for the link! I didn't know it. I took a look inworld and was astounded what you can do with one or two Prims!! Their tastes are not exactly mine but as they offer a UGE varity I'll find things to match! If you are thinking to reduce the 19 Prims of a kitchen by changing the stove I would consider to buy their "One Prim infinity kitchen" which seems to cover every kitchen need anyone ever can have
  24. Not really! ;) I have one of the oldfashioned giant Avatars, I think my Leora measures at leat 2 m!! Zollstock by Leora Jacobus, auf Flickr
