    Oh my goodness, it has become SO bad! They say "short staffed" is the new epidemic, and you really feel it when you call Customer Service these days. Add this to one of my biggest pet peeves - listening to the automated voice on hold. Just play some decent music and stfu!

    Be it right or wrong, there is some truth to this..... If I go out in a sexy avatar, the chances of getting hit on for Slex are much higher, because some people still view it that way (as an invitation). I certainly do not condone this behavior or see it as a valid excuse for treating someone a certain way, but I will admit it happens. I posted along these lines in another thread, trying to make a joke ... but no one laughed. I need to work on my sense of humor (obviously) - but ... I still wear whatever I am in the mood for when I go into SL. Just because I feel like being a sexy bioch (sometimes) in SL - doesn't mean I'm interested in being picked up - it just means it is more likely to happen.

    Yes, I'll be there tonight from 6pm SLT to 8 pm SLT - I show up about 5:30 and stay till about 8:30. This time works best for me, so I plan to continue as long as there is interest. I am kinda hoping others will set up meets at other times - convenient for them and other time zones. Yes, I did mean ADD a Saturday afternoon meet...... Just need to figure out the best Saturday to start. My partner is having surgery on May 2nd, so the first Saturday in May will not work for me, but that doesn't mean you all can't meet up!

    I like the virtual world aspect, vs it being a game (I do play games too, but) SL is a nice relaxing virtual world where I can admire people's work / talent / creativity. I can dance all night, chat up friends or just explore. It's an enjoyable experience for me.
