Hi, i have no numbers on that but - some simply cannot afford new hardware every year so they are stuck with the old software - mesh clothes, we will see how that works because for alot things there is no need to mesh them and again not everyone has the time and or money to buy/learn external software because SL is still a hobby no job Anyway no need to go further into because soon, maybe with the release of mesh?, all V1 viewers won´t be able to login SL anymore so this problem will become obsolete. Btw. i don´t see any improvement on V2 viewer, all the shiny little things could have been implemented in the V1 code too. It´s just this ugly new interface to deal with. Monti

You do not need to add or whatever, it will just be loaded when needed. To stop the music in LL V2 Viewer, just click on the Pause icon top right on the menu bar (the 2 vertical lines) Monti

Hi, the flash player is only needed to show media content in SL: Movies, Webpages ... You can try just with starting play media and see what happens. It should allready be installed on your PC when you have watched Movies on the Internet. Things like Youtube or MyVideo ... Monti

Hello, a bit more information would be helpful: PC or MAC, OS Version, LL Viewer or Third Party Viewer, Wired or Wireless..., was it ever any different. Have you tried to de-install the current used viewer and remove the temp-files and installed another viewer? Hi, there are no dumb questions only dumb answers :smileywink: Prims are the block (cubes, spheres ..) nearly all in SL is build from. That leeds to No2: rezz. This is an old movie term and only mean to put a thing into the world. Even you can "rezz" a "prim" and another one and .... to create your first building. IMVU is a more static world but in SL everyone can create things from clothes to homes to clothes .... The motorcycle. If you buy things you can use them. Buy the motorcycle, "rezz" it (there it is again) and sit on or sometimes you have to wear transportations to use them. If you cannot understand the description check out for another one. Some may send you links to videos where you can learn the basic about SL. One last thing. Never "rezz" or attach things you got from so called nice people for free. Some could do funny or nasty or even dangerous things. Better go to freebie or other stores where the items are tested and known. Hope that brought a little bit of light and you enjoy SL. Hallo, für eine zeitlang war es außerhalb USA nicht möglich PayPal als Zahlungsmethode zu benutzen. Leider bin ich mir nicht mehr sicher ob das noch so ist. Allerdings gibt es permanent Probleme mit dem Updaten von Zahlungsinformationen wie ändern der CC Daten usw. Einfach stur bleiben und weiter versuchen oder vielleicht gleichzeitig ein Ticket öffnen. Ich gehe jetzt mal nicht darauf ein warum Premium oder nicht das wurde lange genug durchgekaut. Monti

Maybe not at your home but here buying "used" software is illegal. I know that for sure when it comes to Autodesk softare because u register it on your name and thats it. Think i remember even Microsoft started to do that with windows long ago but i lost track. Mesh can be great for alot things but more ingame building tools would help new people just to start without go outside learn and buy another tool then import to see it´s ugly and again.... I guess we all started to build with a box, remodelled, added another one.... I doubt that someone new to SL starts with building meshes ?!? If the primcount stay this high meshes are even useless for clothes because then Sim-Owners won´t allow you to come because of the high rendercost your avata has. Allready have this with some peoples hair and boots and .... Monti

Hello, maybe it is not all about a borked search engine. Some merchants find it funny to just copy/paste a list of keywords to their products. I had one item removed with 5! keywords where one was naming the dress-style and that was considered as keyword-spam :smileysurprised: Monti

Hi ! Thats kinda funny because i wanted to start a thread like this right now. Not only they bug you after you bought something from them or visited their stores, more and more just randomly sending inventory as advertisment. This is SPAM so clearly against TOS. I know this is working for spam-mails when only 2 % read and reply to but please merchants, don´t do that ! Thanks Monti

Hi, you can do alot with winamp and plugins. The easy DJ job not the scratching maybe but i guess u find plugins for that too! Cost nothing and it worked for me on my first months as SL-DJ Monti

Hi, that could be an attachment you wear or just the place you try to login. First try is to login to a different location. Next, delete all files manually. In Win7 they can be hidden under C:\Users ..... (make sure u checked show hidden files) Then uninstall and re-install one of your favourite viewers and do the login trick too. Plus the obvious, contact linden via phone or file a ticket ... but .... Monti

Not fully sure but i think they are from Sine-Wave. Some had this dances full-perm but they where stolen ! Careful if a "friend" offers you things full perm for free. Monti

Hi, not sure about the ticket thing but for this viewers its easy to pretend be an accepted viewer. As long digital content exist there will be ways to copy it - with or without permission. I guess you can only act if stolen things are uploaded into SL or any other Open Grid. Better be a DMCA (spelled right? we don´t have that here so maybe its DCMA....) that protects digital rights all over the net but you need to proof things are yours. As someone said in another thread, be quick do things make money and move on with a new idea. Sad but thats our new virtual world that makes copy things easier than RL ever was. Monti

:smileywink:From the early days mesh where introduced i wasn´t a big fan of all this. Content Creation was taken out of SL and with the possibilites mesh has no one would build with regular prims. (Not starting a new discussion thats all done) But now with all this fuzz and limits it looks all have to watch very close where and when mesh can be used as an improvement - not for lag only for better content. Hi Bowno, animation or gesture ? Animations don´t need to be mod because all you can do then is rename. Gestures are just combinations of anims + chat + sound ..... You could TP to one of the animation-shops and leave the owner/creator a notecard, alot do custom work. Monti
