  1. CTS Wardrobe does not need your SL login to look at it when outside of SL. You just need your personal link bookmarked in whichever web-browser you prefer
  2. I'll be the first to say, it is time consuming and there is a learning curve. On the other hand, being able to get dressed from a visual entry on a webpage, makes the effort worth it to me personally.
  3. You and me both. I actually dropped a group because the person making the items said it was too time consuming to go back and put the ad into the vendor box. It was not a free group either.
  4. I ❤️ vendor ads, it's my main form of uploading into the CTS. Anything I have to get dressed in for a picture, I usually put on the back burner.
  5. A form of this already exists. CTS Wardrobe, view my profile pick in world if you want to see mine.
  6. I doubt it's Linden Labs fault. Since most of the recent problems seem to have been DDoS attacks. Better to look for the geeky troll in his mom's basement that recently got dumped in SL and is now taking revenge on the entire SL world. To add: Or just some idiots in general attacking anyone.
  7. Yup And every single person on my friends list (once it came up again on dashboard) is gone
  8. After 11 years and so many changes, it's quite likely the store no longer exists.
  9. Too bad it doesn't count the posts from before the forums were redone. I was posting a heck of a lot more then. Ah well.
  10. Took me 2 very slow tries, but I'm in. Afraid to go anywhere, but in.
  11. I live on Gaeta 5 and live not far away from your first picture. I think one of my parcels may have been across the road from your last picture, but if so, that place no longer exists. I recently made that same walk and found so really wonderful areas. I'm working on opening a little public roadside area myself. A rundown coffee shop/bakery with a separate game room, shooting gallery, and mini golf. But trying to make it look shabby chic, hopefully not ugly.
  12. I have plenty now, but what some folks don't do often enough, is roam around their places and experiment with linking items or shrinking them down or go to a sandbox and try combos of items. Tis particularly works well with copyable, small items. A lot of those little 1LI items can often be linked, turning 3 separate items with 3LI total into 1LI. Also shrink stuff down. We become used to living in huge monstrosities, often with the furniture taking up just 1/8 the entire room. You'd be surprised how much you might be able to drop just by shrinking your home just a small bit. I have plenty of LI right now and still do these simple things whenever I can.
  13. It's not SL becoming stagnant, it's the individual. There are some days I'm so boggled by choice, I literally spend hours sorting inventory while I decide what I want to do most. If I'm stagnant it's because there is actually activity overload in SL, and my brain became short circuited by indecision.
  14. Join a fun event, and not all are for shopping. I'm doing the MadPea hunt right now and meeting lots of others doing the same hunt. Most have been really great to run into, some become long term friends. The group chat can also be quite chatty and entertaining.
  15. if you have quite a few 1li items and they are copyable, try linking a few at a time together. I often go around my place seeing what I can link to bring down my LI. Plus if you have a huge house, shrinking it just a bit might help. I cut about 14 li off my house and it's still a nice livable size.
  16. My most memorable was within my first week or two. My second day in I went premium, then got my free 512, back before Linden Homes. Put a house on the land and decorated it. A few days later I decide to try making a prim skirt, looked really nice when I was building it in my living room, and selected attach without taking it into inventory. I attached my entire house. I IMed the house maker to try to get it off me, because I was still too new to realize I could detach it just like I detach clothing parts. The vendor was awfully nice about it, but I was so embarrassed, I still get red nearly 13 years later.
  17. Due to mobility issues on and off for many years, I have very few regrets about the money I spent in Second Life. I don't drink, have a hard time at the movies, don't go dancing, etc. So most of my entertainment comes from SL and the friends I have online. To that end, what I spend is entertainment expenses I might spend elsewhere if I could, and I like looking good while I'm here.
  18. I admit I admire mine more then I should. A lot of her is like real me, brown hair, green eyes, longish sloped nose. The rest is an idealized me, the one that would exist if life had been perfect. Oh well.
  19. Your in-world, actual join date is 07/07/2017, October is likely when you started using the forums. My forum join date says 2009, but my actual join date in world is December 31, 2005. Yes I was bored on New Year's eve and tried SL for the first time. The forums were redone sometime before my forum date of 2009. I was posting since I started, but stopped for a while.
  20. If women are acting cold, it also might be because so many men act like we're ready to do some pixel poking just because we're in SL to begin with. I do not immediately hop on a sex bed with anyone, and have even warned guys that they'll probably find me boring. That hasn't stopped many from thinking they'll be the one to get me naked in a day or two. And it's after that day or two the nicer acting guys stop chatting with me, the not so nice ones didn't get past "Hi. U r sexy". Some girls get that a few times a week, so yeah, that tends to stop some of us from being the friendliest creatures in SL till we know someone better.
  21. I've had enough health problems, it's something I've given much consideration too, though not about my av...yet. I've seen people just disappear, not heard from again, and it's always bothered me. I have 2 people my brother knows how to get a hold of if something happens to me and I am gone for an extended time or worse. My prayers go with you for a successful outcome. All the best and I hope you return to us quickly on the flip side of your surgery.
