  1. Ah, ok, thanks. I wondered about that, but wasn't sure..
  2. I could be wrong, but if all one's alts share the same e-mail address, then I believe "Payment info used" appears. And, what they said.
  3. I very much miss Caledon's "Iron Cloud", as well as the Mesa 5 sims. Mesa 5 was an incredible sci-fi build for a group of builders reffered to as "the Greeblers". Both of these places have inspired me to become a builder as well, and the Iron Cloud was what inspired me to create my own airfield and space station.
  4. I usually dress my avi with the seasons, and I rather enjoy winter wonderland style sims around the holidays, and get all good and bundled up for those. And a stylish swimsuit for those summer months when visiting beaches! I also tend to gravitate to a more vintage/retro style in general.
  5. I have 12 different characters/toons, though maybe half come out with any real regularity. Though Samantha here is relatively new, she is based on a comic character I created in high school, so she's pretty much been promoted to main, as it were. She also has a sister named Kristen. Maybe someday, I'll get around to creating the Martians as well ... Most of my other alts/toons were characters in a now defunct RP storyline I had with my late partner.
  6. Turned 50 last May myself. Though on the inside, I'm 21 'til I die! ^_~
  7. Wearing a lovely dress I picked up not too long ago! ♥
  8. I generally try to stay in the 50k range, with 100k being my upper limit. Most outfits thankfully are generally around 30-40k. And that's with meshy body and head.
  9. Ah, I fondly remember Kimi, as well. Only talked to her a handful of times, but I've always appreciated her creativity, and she turned me on to a really neat book series, as well. Wherever she is, I hope she's doing all right.
  10. As it happens, my old landlady where I used to live had Martini in the Morning on, back when that was a thing. And that re-awakened a fondness for oldies, jazz and such. I also discovered a classical station around that time that got me exploring "light music", which is commonly heard in TV shows and movies of the 1950s and such. So my musical horizons have been expanded as a result, as I used to be "All heavy metal all the time!" up to around that point. Also, a friend got me into vaping, and I quit smoking as a result. And now, some years later, I hardly ever even vape now. Also, last christmas, I had no less than 3 sets to DJ. The big rub was that my grandmother passed away earlier that week. So doing the sets is what helped take my mind off of things for a time, and share some nice stories for my friends I DJed for. And in turn, doing the sets, sharing stories, and the support of my friends at each set gave me the strength I needed for my family in RL. So, long story short, SL expanded my musical horizons, helped me quit smoking, and deal with grief at a family member's passing. I'd say that's pretty good!
  11. Good choices, all. I would also like to mention Neve. They're one of my casual go tos.
  12. That has pretty much been my prevailing thought through the course of this thread as well. Well said!
  13. That looks really nice! =D I like that! Me paying tribute to legendary Metallica bassist Cliff Burton.
  14. I play guitar myself. That said, Cliff was the man! One of my fondest memories as a teen was doing homework, making a big plate of cheese fries and enjoying Cliff 'em All. \m/
  15. Gearing up for a Metallica tribute set later. R.I.P. Cliff!
  16. Can't say that I am specifically decorating for Halloween, but I do enjoy making seasonal changes to the "City" in my parcel. That, and considering the fact one can dress up as anything one fancies at any old time, there's little to distinguish Halloween from any other day in SL.
  17. Channeling my inner Final Fantasy monk.
  18. Pretty much this. I'm in the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" camp. I've been using Maitreya since 2015, and see no reason to jump ship. Plus, let's not forget that everyone and their dog makes stuff for Maitreya.
  19. Interesting. I'll have to look those up. I've always had a soft spot for pretty much all mid century era jets, as my grandfather served in the Air Force during that time.
