  1. For sci-fi stuff, it's all about Isil. Studio Skye is also good. That is my main go to for landscaping items, like trees, dirt roads and that sort of thing. For clothing: By Swirly, Really Rockabilly, Set to Stun, the Secret Store, Belle Epoque, Zenith, R2. Also Addams and Blueberry Hair: Magika, Elua, Truth, Doux, Exile Home, decor: FIN/Relive the 50s, What Next, Dysfunctional Designs, % ( yes, it's "percent" as the symbol. )
  2. Flying a plane. All while listening to the "asteroid theme" from the Empire Strikes back! XD
  3. Cosplaying some Star Trek. Yes, Transformers fan as well.
  4. I'm all about honey in hot tea. Here's hoping that you get better soon, and no covid to contend with.
  5. @Ignis Dismantled Excellent call! I follow a few of those channels myself. ♥
  6. "Thunder In Your Heart" by Stan Bush. If that name sounds familiar, he's the bloke who did the song "The Touch" from the 1986 Transformers: the Movie. Very nice CGI in the video, too!
  7. Ganked from my own profile inworld: Well, back in the early to mid 1990s, like many other mis-spent youth of that era, I was - and still am! - an enthusiast of heavy metal music. The "slammed" part is a reference to moshing/slam dancing that was popular around that time. Also around that time, I dabbled in the writing and drawing of cartoons and comics called "Slammed Sam", whose protagonist was some teenage kid that had many adventures in all manner of wacky situations! The character in question eventually became what you see right here. Ever since then, I have tweaked and re-invented Sam to some degree. One day, I might even actually finish the novel she's supposed to be a part of.
  8. I am currently reading the "Lady Astronaut" series by Mary Robinette Kowal. They are called The Calculating Stars, The Fated Sky, and The Relentless Moon. A friend inworld recommended them to me, and I can't get enough. As the title implies, it is about a female astronaut in an alternate 1950s/60s. Jolly good read, it is!
  9. I can understand that. Sometimes, I'll sit there, and think "Allright, that thing is spiffy! Now, where did that come from again?"
  10. Allrighty, I'll try that. Yay, there it is! ^^
  11. Seeing some good names up on here. What Next is an excellent go to for home decor. Some of my faves: DDD, aka Dysfunctionality. good for rustic things. FIN ( Relive the 50s ) really good if you like retro of that period. Second Spaces are nice. One time, they even did a bit that looks like something out of a Jetsons kitchen! Isil, the sci fi maker, makes some nice things as well. Pew Pew is nice. Trompe Loeil has some really nice things. Floorplan also has some nice things.
  12. Silly question ... how does one post a pic on this forum?
