  1. I really never think of Second Life as playing a game. I've been away from Second Life until quite recently, but SL is the only virtual world I am in. I do play World of Warcraft though and have consistently for almost 13 years. I also enjoy the Sims 3 and 4 when I get the chance. Besides that I'm involved in a large sewing and knitting online community, read, blog and fix up cabbage patch dolls that are second hand during my spare time. That's about it.
  2. For the first time in months I got to be in Second Life. To explore Snowhaven Creek. Blessed Yuletide and a bright New Year ahead to all.
  3. Time with my most handsome hubby... in Belli.❤
  4. I've always loved trying to put together an avatar as cheaply as I can. It's fun. I love fashion. One account I have is for this purpose. Below is Flora whose look cost a total of 1L. She isn't perfect, but I really love how she turned out.
  5. My pet peeve just for now is that my precious floof ball cat keeps stealing things out of my luggage I keep trying to pack for her and I since our move to the UK is this next week. So I pack it and she tries to pull them out and place them all over quite messily before climbing into the suitcase herself. She isn't making this easy, but I wouldn't have my sweetie any other way.
  6. I've been fully vaccinated three weeks now. I didn't get any side effects or symptoms besides a sore arm each time. Best decision I made. I was so happy I didn't sleep the night before each shot. Felt like receiving a gift. It's always nice to know there are things I can do to help others and myself not get sick. Especially during times of uncertainty.
  7. "All truth is a shadow except the last, except the utmost; yet every truth is true in its kind." -Isaac Penington 1653 (From Quaker Faith and Practice. Always one of the quotes I come across while studying that really makes me think.)
  8. It has been awhile, but found some time for sailing and boating in Bellisseria the last few days with my husband.
  9. I think my husband is handsome in both worlds. To each their own.
  10. Wednesday I have to go in for an X-Ray determining if I've broken any bones or not because of a stupid fall that isn't healing over a month after the fact. I'm terrified at the idea of having to go to a medical facility while our area is still on lockdown locally. It seems I've developed a bit worse social anxiety than I had before this pandemic. I understand that this is needed, but just wish it wasn't. Sorry for the rant, but I've just been really frustrated as of late.
  11. Life lessons. They can come in many forms of course, but in the end the fact I've learned something is valuable. I've had many of them lately and one in particular saved me a lot of future pain. I'm thankful for that. I would rather have a tiny sting now than a large pain later. 😊
  12. She isn't really an object, but my daughter Wednesday in SL. She actually came first into my life in SL and I love her to pieces. My hubby got me a doll version of Wednesday last May for my birthday. They don't look exactly alike, but she is so very precious to me.
  13. I've always been way too shy to offer friendship to anyone for the most part. I'm also not comfortable accepting friendship requests unless I've gotten to know the person for awhile. It's less hassle this way and I feel if people cannot understand this, they aren't worth the time and effort a friendship takes. On either side. These days I'm rarely open to new friendships. I have a caring family and quite content with the small circle that has been part of my life for years. I'm not a people person though. I've had others offer friendship over the years only to remove me right after. I find this a silly thing to do, but that is up to them. It isn't any of my business. People are going to do what they will do. The only person you have control over is yourself and your actions. I figure that when someone removes me, I'm more than likely better off for it. From past experiences, this has proven more than true. I do think a new friendship list layout would be a nice change.
