I'm a freelance writer as a profession and former English professor. Anything that I share in SL or anywhere else is under copyright. I would hope people have enough sense not to trust your motives. You can't even put a coherent thought together let alone a grammatically correct sentence. Your claimed "writing style" is simply you being too lazy to put effort in replies while expecting others to contribute stories. Your perceived style would of gained a failing grade had you attempted it in one of my lectures. If you want an actual viable discussion, perhaps put effort into explaining the what, where, why and how of your request instead of trying to be edgy. I could even point you in the direction of a very active library in SL that has nightly literary readings I attended regularly when I could still hear. There are even literary clubs you can join.

Congratulations once again on missing the entire point people are expressing about your "I'm bored!" mentality! It really is quite sad that someone who cannot even keep themselves entertained is attempting to tell me what would make me happier. 😂 At this point, I'm finding it difficult believing you're an adult with your lack of understanding of straightforward responses and inability to keep yourself entertained on even a basic level. I will once again simply iterate what you need to understand. If you're so bent on only seeing something as garbage, don't be surprised of only boredom staring back at you. It really isn't that difficult to understand. 🙄

You're right about one thing. This is indeed a forum. A public forum where anyone has a right to reply to a thread you start even if they express something you may not necessarily like. Explaining what your intentions are for these short stories you're asking others to share should be a priority. People who would be sharing their work in this thread have put time and effort into anything they would be willing to share so perhaps you should put a bit of effort in by being transparent and honest about your intentions. Brushing off questions that are quite understandable to ask under the circumstances demonstrates that your motives may be less than honorable. So it might be in your best interest to answer the questions asked here instead of telling others to "not reply" or "waste their time" in your thread if they don't like what they've read. You don't get to dictate who replies to your thread. 🙄

When it comes to skin, I do prefer appliers still. It is just easier although on my alts I use BOM for their skins too. I love being able to use both appliers and BOM layers as an option. I think it is kind of silly some creators are removing the applier options and not making them because not everyone has gone BOM. Both appliers and BOM have very useful purposes!

People actually did offer help in some of the replies on how you can better use the search function on the marketplace to avoid things you don't wish to see...

Hubby and I have been fortunate in our neighbors in Belli. None have tried to ever implement snow or anything ostentatious. We have seen pretty holiday wreaths or the odd grass hedge reindeer, but that is about it. I love decorating for holidays with the Belli climate. Things get to be so simplistic and easy. Our extent this year has been a tree, front door wreath and single string of soft white holiday lights on the front porch roof. That's it. We have a winter rental that is a bit more decorated, but sometimes simple can go a long ways with decorating and consideration for one's neighbors in Belli.

I've spent my day trying to find holiday decorations in SL. This isn't something I've had to do in years since on my old account I had everything I needed that had been collected over the years. Beginning anew on Daffy means starting from scratch so this has proven quite challenging. Fun, but challenging!

The truly pathetic part besides someone repeatedly harassing another resident to find out if they are going to abandon their home is the fact that even if they were planning to abandon said home...there is no guarantee the annoying person will get that home after it's abandoned. 🙄

There are those of of who have compromised immune systems who can't get vaccinations. My doctor won't even approve a flu shot for me because last time I had one, I ended up in the hospital. This being the case, I don't see how a mandatory vaccine would be practical, but I really hope anyone who can get the vaccine would do so. Doctors have always told me that the more people who are vaccinated, the safer those of us with compromised immune systems are too. I would hope this would be the case with Covid too. I've been really hoping that my doctor will actually say that this particular vaccine is safe for me to take once it is released for public use.
