  1. The land behind #2 is in a different region; I checked to see what it was, but I couldn't tell if it was just an empty region where building will start, or if it's actual Protected-Protected Land. This is a screencap of the map; the SL flag is at the Millers Pond house, and the big square below it is what's behind it in the picture.
  2. Okay, here are the two houses. I'm leaning toward Rockham (the first picture), but things about Millers Pond (by process of elimination, the second picture) folks have mentioned (water access, etc) also appeal. GACK.
  3. I may have to promote my other alt to premium at this rate
  4. Hi! So my primary alt and I are now the proud owners of two Trad Linden homes, one in Millers Pond, one in Rockham. I kind of want some variety so I'm attempting to decide which to hang on to. I have the Rockham, AjayMcDowwll Alter has the Millers Pond. I like the landscaping that's already present in Rockham best, but, well... FOMO if I drop Millers Pond Does anyone have any suggestions about how they decide these things? I'm flummoxed and torn LOL
  5. I love this! I've installed Black Dragon, but haven't messed around with it yet. I really need to do that.
  6. Oh! Also, I was playing around with some older clothes and found this Maitreya Sendal dress. I loved it then, and still do now My only quibble is the glitch shorts end several inches before the bottom of the skirt, so, irksome.
  7. I hate medication shifts. I really do. With the Lexapro I had horrible insomnia for weeks, although that straightened out. Some other side effects got worse over time, though, which led me to switch to the Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin's onboarding wasn't bad (also, the obnoxious issue Lexapro caused totally went away) but the anxiety came roaring back and didn't abate over the course of several months... which has led to the Trintellix/ Buspar combo. The Buspar is relatively benign. The Trintellix? Erm... let's just say that "exasperating" on the G/I side effects doesn't really begin to cover it Lordy. Thank goodness for understanding employers, at least. Other than that wee gripe, all's well at the moment. My son has a psychiatrist appointment today, so we'll see if there's any medication adjustment forthcoming for him.
  8. I got to play with the ability to have feet in two different positions on the new Lara body. Yay
  9. Earthstones has some chokers that do have RLV, and others that just have an RLV add-on.. probably some with neither. Those may be worth exploring as well.
  10. Ison has a rose choker available in multiple colours that’s rigged for Maitreya. Also, Avaway has necklaces rigged for Maitreya that also include chokers. Some of those are separate pieces on the folder, others are put on and then the accompanying necklaces alpha out. Both are available on Marketplace, and I know Ison has an inworld presence. I’m pretty sure Avaway does as well.
  11. Thanks! It's terrifyingly flexi and terrifyingly high complexity, and I adore it. I wore it at the venue I frequent/ am employed by long enough to have fun with it and get some pics, then I scampered home and drove my complexity down to under 30K in penance (and I'd do it all again, because THAT DRESS!!! *happysigh*)
  12. This is not my day, and yet I can completely relate -- I have that pedantic tic too, as well as agreeing most emphatically that YES NAMING CONVENTIONS ARE TOTALLY IMPORTANT!!! Ahem. Sorry. As y'all were.
  13. Me too. I don't think I've ever heard of a worse power-trippy statement. I mean, really... what kind of horrible individual does one have to be to be proud of arresting a six-year-old? I am truly disgusted. Absolutely agreed. These fields are not for the power hungry. Unfortunately, to varying degrees both seem to have an appeal on that end
  14. That happened an hour from where I live. The officer in question had apparently arrested two children at the elementary school that day. Some folks do NOT need to be school resource officers... or even in law enforcement at all. I don't know in what world it's ever appropriate to arrest and handcuff a freaking six-year-old. If the behavior is truly egregious, that's what suspension is for. I'm glad the idiot has been fired. I hope more happens to him. Incarceration would be a nice start.
  15. Still working on that whole "depth of field" and composition thing. I don't quite have it yet. Also, coffee.
  16. I tend to go more traditional (although I'm not sure what my tiny house style is, exactly), but I love the modern buildings and what both of you (Marianne and Chic) have done with them!
  17. Regarding sauces as a whole, I will admit that homemade mayo is awesome. I can't abide the storebought stuff, but my own is lovely Also, a nice, grainy, horse-radishy mustard never goes amiss. I like ranch, too... especially on fries...
